It was rough in the early days as a gal playing; lot of guys wanted nothing to do with a woman playing a man's game, so to speak. The insults were vicious and continuous and often very personal. Fortunately my self=worth was and is not dependent on what other people think of me or my ideas, or what they say. And most of this nonsense I got in person, not on the net.
I simply flipped 'em off and found people who didn't mind. No one is going to make me give up something I enjoy simply by being childish. I'm a stubborn lass.
Easier for people to be childish on the net as it lends a sort of anonymity.
Ignore them, that's my advice. Enjoy the game.
