That was me. And the Icon Bearer fights with his full complement of attacks. So if you model a CSM with an Icon, he would still get to use his bolt pistol, bolter, and CCW. I think as long as the Icon stands out, it can be just about anything. You could use a trophy rack on a backpack, whatever. Just as long as it looks sufficently specific to the god it's dedicated to. As for Chaos Glory, the eight sided star would be cool.
