Re: RP Rules I have no problem with you doing whatever you want for your RP of your won devising. The Point of the NO SM rule was that space marines are to most normal people, gods, it was just there so that first time GMs don't end up having a God do everything for the normal PCs.
If you want your RP to include super-powerful NPCs or PCs then that is, of course, your decision.
I will say that SM, CSM, Orks and such do have their uses and places in RPGs, but in all the Rps I've run, I haven't had to deal with them as NPCs and certainly not PCs.
The wonderful thing about RPGs is that you can do ANYTHING. The rules here are guidelines I wrote a LONG time ago (two years? 18 months?) and were for a specific type of RPing. In fact, looking back at, they really should be considered more of guidelines to how a diceless, more freeform, RP should be played.
