Default 1500pt List, trying to be more Competative

Hi there ^ ^

I just started playing Eldar, and kind'of went nuts with my first army list (My troops were mostly pathfinders, led by a Phoneix lord, a group of wraithguard, wraithlord, and one squad of dire avengers in a wave serpant), and I have pretty much lost every game. So I went back to the drawing board trying to control my point cost better and put more feet on the ground. I've read a couple of the tatical FAQs and I've tried to incorperate them.

Hq:
Farseer w/ Spear, on Jetbike. Powers: Storm & Mind war=125pts
-This is the one unit I wanted to tool up, I wanted to play Eldar for the cool pyshic powers. I remember someone saying that the points isn't worth it, but I'll let this one slide.

Elites/Hvy Support:
6 Fire Dragons in a Falcon (Missle Launcher, Vector/Holo)=286pts
-I was going to go with 4-6 Dark Reapers, but they got a bad rap on the boards, so I switched them out with Dragons and put them in a Falcon (which seems to be the fav tank)

Troops:
12 Dire Avengers w/ Exarch equipped with two Shur. Catapults in a Wave Serpent(Bright lance, vector/star engines)=322pts
-These guys I liked, the friends I play with fear these guys ^ ^

19 Guardians w/ Warlock. Powers: Conceal. =192pts
-Felt I needed a chump block'o guys, helps me be on par with the more swarmy armies ( I tend to fight Imperial Guard a lot)

12 Storm guadians in Wave Serpent (Bright Lance, Vector/Star Engines)=266pts
-Thought this would be a cool combo to help support the Dire Avengers & others

Fast Attack:
7 Swooping Hawks w/ Exarch. Powers: Skyleap & intercept.=179pts
-These guys seems to have mix reviews on the board, some said they are awsome, some don't like them at all. I'm a Sisters of Battle player, so I am thinking "seraphim" with these guys. I'm not sure if the skyleap is worth it though, not as dependable as Hit & run, but I want to give it a try 'cause I don't want them being stuck in close combat either.

Heavy Support:
Wraithlord w/ Wraithsword & Missle Launcher (125pts)
-Mainly this guy will be backing up the 19 guardian squad (and staying close to that warlock). I am using him mainly as a bullet catcher since a lot of people seem to love shooting at him, and I would rather they shoot him than my tanks. Though the argument of freeing up another 30 points and replacing him with an Avatar to make said squad fearless is very tempting....

Total:1495

So, what do you guys think? Will this give Tau and Imperial Guard (my main enemies) a run for their money?

Thanks for any input! ^ ^
