They were/are being kept to a once a year thing, but I believe that a schedule has been set up to include competitions that are similar (though not the any single, 40mm based or smaller, model). You'll have to wait till Jan 2009 for that one to come around.
In fact I'll go have a look and see if I can find that list now- I shall report back
