Re: 1500pt List, trying to be more Competative 1-5 shouldn't be a problem to implement.
With 1, should I buy Spirit stones for the combo to work? Also, I'm not seeing the combo, do the two powers work with each other? Like does Doom reroll's the D6 for Mind War?
2 & 3, works nicely, in fact switching the weapons around nets me a -5 pts ^ ^.
4, this will be hard; two scatter lasers & another warlock with conceal is going to cost another +70pts.
5, I like Swooping hawks 'cause they remind me of my Seraphim, but I am very wary with skyleap, though I didn't see the combo with the Autarch with rerolling for reserves, that's cool ^ ^.
I was picking them because of their haywire grenades & intercept; they seem to be good against vehicles. The Spiders, well, I'm not sure how I will play those. Can't do much against armor unless attack in the back. They will be able to take out troops, but they have no AP. The jump thing is cool, and I like to always deep strike, and hit and run is my favorite special rules. Yet with that 12 inch gun, they have to fall back, and even if they do, 12in is still in charging range, and they don't seem to be the close combat type. Also, I wish the jump generator was more of a sure thing, moving away only 2D6 means half the time they won't move very far which equals death, and jumping may even cause death on top of that. Arch, sorry for rambling, but, how do you use them? And why would you say this particular list? (Do they work well with another unit?)
Lastly, 6; Really? On most of the Eldar tactical talk have been to stay far away from Dark Reapers. I've read a lot about how they are shoot or fire and are very expensive. Taking the Wraithlord away will give me a -125 points, but that will only buy me 3 Reapers with -20 points left over, thought that'll help with the above weapon platforms and extra warlock, but with all these changes, I would have to drop 45 points of something from somewhere ><.
Tell me what you think, and I'm going to see if it is possible to scroung up an extra 45 pts. |
