Re: Scale? saying 28mm (which is more like 30mm nowadays) doesnt mean much with GW's scale
you could get a real life 1/48 (or is it 1/46? i cant remember) scale model - which is tehnically 28mm - and compare it to a GW one and youll be disgusted by the liberties they take with scale.
case in point: a human male body i 8 heads high, as in; stand 8 normal male heads on top of each other and they will form a pillar about the same height of a normal man. 8 heads. eight.
pick up any plastic GW model - say a cadian, marine, sister of battle and just look. do you see 8 heads in height? no. more like 4. insane! thats why 45mm models (=][= scale) have hands and weapons that are generally the same size as 40k ones - thats how far out the scale is! |
