Stitch, me being the avid LoTR game fan, I completely have to agree with you on the lack of effort put into the easterlings list. They have a ***ping 5 different models, yes, it is VERY sad and I would love for them to get their specialists! It would make them worth their time and I whole heartedly agree that easterlings get ran over like a cheap french u know what by almost every good army who outnumbers you. My minas tirith army is 9 points for the same everything as what your spearmen except the fighting in two ranks. I think they best thing to do though would be to just lower the cost of those spearmen by 1! Then they match minas tirith in every way, points, stats, but they get the one up of fighting in 3 ranks. Their archers and their swordsmen are just as expensive as mine but I have specialist units which gives me a one up on ya! I guess we are just assuming that humans serving sauron cant have specialist troops (well except for the harad because they technically dont devoutly serve sauron so they are allowed to specialise! LOL) I will agree wholeheartedly that you are completely right about this and I share your pain!
