i don't mind seeing the spearmen stay at 10pts/model, but give them fight 4! considering the easterlings are supposed to be the most feared & skillful of all sauron's human servents.
they should stay as the least numerous, (next to the black numenoreans of corse!) but make them better... i could really care less about the phalanx rule as right now is does crap-all! at best it gives the easterlings a better shot at drawing a fight. typically though, most stuff i face in the area has that fight 4 so i'm still screwed outright.

dragon guard i expect will definately get fight 4 + the bodyguard rule. however, their weakness is the fact that they'll suffer if they use those elven blades of theirs! (plus they're even pricier than the spear/shield warrior!)

the kataphraks could also use either a slight pts drop to reflect the fact they are nothing more than a basic warrior who's mounted, or else give them a slight pts increase but add some bite to them! (S3 for the most part doesn't cut it for cavalry...)
again, those gondor knights have lances which helps them when they win a fight on the charge. plus it makes their heroic fights deadly! kataphraks bounce off more times than not... also IIRC, a gondor knight w/full kit is the same pts cost as a kataphrak too!

the siege bow will at least finally add some hard-hitting firepower. the bowmen are fine as they are now, as are the sword/shield warriors. (again, i would easily pay a point or two more for that fight 4!)

i don't so much mind the lack of characters, provided they don't butcher khamul's rules in the forthcoming mordor book! (for the love of god, make him decent!!!)
in friendly games the easterling king can get away with using the stats of a king of men... however, it would be cool if we were to get another new named character to supliment khamul. (who is currently the biggest waste of the better part of 100+ pts!)
