I run Ogryns in the minimum with a Bone'ead. The only problem is that we live in the age of the powerfist and it is very dangerous for ogryns to come out of their barracks against most armies. I've had fun with them against Tau, and Necrons but I don't get to play against many guard armies. Anything army with S8 power fists and they don't really work. When Chaos had spiky bits, and taking master crafted lightning claws was in vogue I would still use them then and I have taken out raptors and Chaos Marines alike. It's always risky though.
