In the Chaos Codex pg 81 it states that independent chracters do NOT gain the benefit if they join the squad so that answers one of the questions. However I can not find any where that states an independant character, with the mark of Tzeentch for example, can't join a unit with the Icon of Nurgle or Khrone or any other icon for that matter. Does any one else agree or disagree with this. Can my Sorcerer Lord with wings join the unit of Raptors with the Icon of Chaos Glory and fly around the board, or do I need to keep him back away to protect him?
