A matter of honor. If your opponent doesn't catch a mistake you or he make (in eithers favor, or against eithers favor) be sure to point it out, but politely. This wil usually help guarantee repeat gaming. This rule can be broken if the mistake is an elementary one, or a gamebreaking/making one.
