You two just hit on big ones, in my book anyways. My
friend is so anal about dice. If
I roll a cocked die, he calls it as is. But if
he rolls a cocked die,
he gets to reroll it, unless he gets a good roll.
He's prone to throwing dice as well if he gets bad rolls.

Underage drinking is frowned upon by the authorities over here.
Let both players set up the table/scenery. Let both players set up an equal amount of terrain, that isn't overly beneficial to either player.
