Always bring a copy of your codex and an extra "legible" copy of your list. Point out non-WYSIWYG figures and define them. Bring any and all FAQs.

Too many times I have see full blown wars break out over a codex ruling, or a mini which isnt WYSIWYG. I always hand a copy of my list to my opponent and I'm ready to answer/ explain anything on the sheet.
I usually dont have to worry about most of this stuff as I have alot of friends who play and its a more relaxed atmosphere.

My biggest problem is where a novice player gets stomped on by a vet and the vet walks around like a peacock in heat. Always give sage advice to novice players if you can. Even if it means beating yourself. Beating the snot out of a new player is a good way to discourage them from ever playing again. and most of all, its just not cool.
