certain pieces of magical armour allow spell casters to wear it and still toast the enemy with fireballs but normal armour can't be worn by wizards without loosing their magical abilities. all in all such armour is rarely worth it since you don't really want your wizards anywhere near combat and a ward save is preferable to armour any day. |
