ANGELIC mutations are Ok. Its a double standard but who cares? The adeptus Mechanicus worships a C'tan so why even care about minor genetic mutations in the trillions of soldiers fighting for the imperium?....It doesn't even have to be a chaos sparked mutation.

Psyckers are perfectly fine when they are sanctioned. Unsanctioned psyckers are what we call witchs because without going through the process of being sanctioned a psycker is extremely vulnerable to demonic possession. Most witchs are influenced by demons anyway whether they know it or not. Witchs occur when people slip through the cracks and live with the psycker MUTATION unbeknown to the inquisition

THE PSYCKER MUTATION IS A BLESSING, the only thing that lets the imperium of mankind even exist. The Imperium is run on Pysckers, they're used for communication, navigation, and combat. AND THUS TOLERATED.
