Re: Plasticard As someone who does maintenance and die work for a company that makes the sheet styrene for Garage Sale and Beware of Dog signs, I reckon I'd say "VERY WELL". My company makes sheet styrene in thicknesses from .005" to .250". We sell to anyone who wants it, but our primary customers are sign companies, and the guys who screen-print Car Tags (another cheaper souce of styrene). The Sale signs are usually .010" to .020", while the car tags are normally .040" to .060" (perfect for Berenyi's cardstock creations). If you go to the hobby shop for Evergreen or Plastruct sheet styrene, 3 sheets of .020" @ 6x12" will run you $3.79 or so (about $.017 per square inch). The garage sale signs at Wally World, same thickness, @ 9x12" run about a buck a piece (roughly $.009 per sq. inch). Do the math. At WM, you save about half. Dang, I can finally talk about my job. One of these days, I'm gonna start selling plastic. I'll be a millionaire.
We also make PVC pipe, from 1/4" to 2". Just to let you know. I am Plastic Man.
