Ifyou aspire to be a staffer, you need honest criticism, and your paint is too thick.
Old court dresses or not (european history major, I know them) the 'thick' effect therein would be achieved best by modeling and putty. Thick paints only makes your overall job sloppy looking and obscures detail, and your talent and skill may be un-honed yet, but it's there and it deserves better.
