to be honest, Inferno and Warhammer Monthly were going at a time when the Black Library was only producing 4 or 5 books every quarter, and even that was an improvement in how it had been a few years previous. when they made the decision to cancel them, there was a significant rise in publishing, so it was purely down to resources - if they kept them going, then there would be plenty of short stories, but far fewer novels
imo, although i did enjoy both publications, i far prefer the higher novel output. |
