the current macragge & paint class marines we use have this massive high collar around the marine's neck - especially at the back - and it's solid... if you look at a regular multi-part plastic marine, there's a gap between the back upper collar & neck.
that's apparently how the new 5th edition starter marines look - just like the multi-part marines! and the marines as well for example are also suppossed to be in more action poses instead of everyone looking strait ahead, with the bolter held low...
