that was up to and including 6th edition - there is no longer any rule that states that you cannot wear armour and cast spells - what it does say is that if you cannot take mundane armour, then you cannot take magic armour unless the item states otherwise then gives the example that many mages' ability to cast spells are affected by wearing armour - but that is not a rule, it is just an example of the fluff reasons. |
