light armoured skimmers though, are actually quite hard to take down. they are skimmers, after all. my vypers have survived three rounds of devestator fire and only lost one, and he was only immobilized (vectored engines FTW!!)

my last apocolypse game, for example, it went up against a space wolf players baneblade, ate through that, then turned its back on a sisters of battle retribution squad
on purpose. of course, the multi-meltas fried it but in the subsequent apocolyptic explosion i immobilized a land raider, killed 8 wolf guard, an entire blood claws squad, and some long fangs. the longbeard was not a happy camper, especially when some bezerkers did some mopping up actions and Kharn took Ragnars head
