I would still say - be a bit lax on the paint and try to get it thinned down. I see what your working with~

For the robe, I would start with a few tones under then work your way up to the blood red. I will fully assume you use black primer?

1 coat crimson red -> 1 coat Red gore -> 1 coat blood red


Paint the black last, to clean up the messups.

But tis good. Just recommendations for future improvement for your army =P
