Continuing my coverage of GW Washes:

I participated in a local GW Battle Bunker’s Iron Painting Competition in celebration of their release of 5th edtion of 40k.

The event which provided an opportunity to paint a Battleforce sized army of 40k models within 24 hours. We had to show up at the store at 5pm on Friday with our Battleforce, which could be be assembled and primed already.

Well after being busy with end of the school year, I finally took the opportunity to put on my 2nd coat of Red on the titan.

I did make an expedition to Michael's Craft store yesterday and they have a sale on Ott-Lite natural lights. These warmer temperature lights provide natural lighting in your painting workspace, eliminating the yellowish cast given by most indoor lights. Michael's had them at 40% off, which is a good deal!

So I stopped by my Local GW Bunker today as I was dropping a friend off at a nearby Airport.

I was lucky in that they had just received their shipment of GW Washes:


The Store manager being a great guy, and knowing that I live a distance from the store, allowed me to pick up the box set.

Now I'm a died in the wool dipper. Having used the dip method...
