Day 1 - Yellow Mellow Eldar~

So I was bored on XMAS day, I bought these eldar stuff for myself, well I have about 2k pts worth sitting in boxes but I might as well start small you know? Basically I am going to Iyanden scheme as I love the yellow and blue. This is my 2nd time painting yellow so.. dont expect much things pro.

So I found a guide online on how to paint yellow. First you start with watered down golden yellow, but I love Vallejo instead so I am going to use that~

Then I simply applied yellow to the stuff I wanted to be yellow`





Then I began to do a ink mix using:
2 :: 1 :: 1
Yellow :: Red :: Brown inks

then applied it to the cracks~

Then after I just started using sunburst yellow then bad moon yellow then white highlight to get what I wanted.





After showing a few people, and getting some weird faces, I see that my highlighting isn't exactly the best. But who knows... this is my 2nd try on yellow... so lets see what happenes tommorow...
