Paradoxal? Perhaps...

Posted 12-29-2007 at 07:08 PM by Torquemada Coteaz
Most people say the day someone learns that there's more to life than money, power, posessions, and fun-for-the-moment is the day that the someone becomes truly mature - in a sense. A day to celebrate, a day that they should feel proud of.

It is not.

For many, it is a day that they will rue for the rest of their life.

----

The loss of ignorance is the loss of innocence, and much much more. More by whole orders of magnitudes. More of things that are valuable to any person, and can never be regained, never be replaced.

----

What am I talking about?
Try to think.
Why would anyone come to such realizations?
What might bring them to see value in things other than those described above?
Try to think.
Then you may just realize what I'm talking about.

Your missus left with all your money and you`re trying to pretend you don`t miss her or the money because you`re above that state now?

Sorry, first thing that came to mind

Not poetry,
not quite as harsh as Wakim's hypothetical case.

Though, if it were wakim's hypothetical case, you'd all know directly WITHOUT the oddities and vague words, and my above blog post would be sent to my "missus" instead, along with a letter from my lawyer if there's grounds to reclaim the money
