| Conscript ![]() | hmm thread hijacking... i could add that to my sig with thread necromancy ![]() though really, unless theyre using speed freeks, i dont think you can do much with orks at the moment. Pete Haines tried to show off his footslogging army in a battle report (fair enough, it was showcasing the new smurfs) but still... it was a massacre! |

| Well, we need to crack on with some more ideas then! We could use these rules as House Rules until the new Ork codex is out.

| I've never played Orks, but I helped my friend collect them (I read the codex lquite a bit and told him what's good and what's not) and I got him to get a speed freak army (I thought it was the only good army you could play with Orks, I was right!) I enjoy them, and if they had better rules I would collect them.

| Conscript ![]() | 3rd edition orks are seriously lacking in fun elements like the shock attack guns, squig catapults, pulsa rokkits, pile 'em high battlewagonz and mad boyz from previous editions. and as much as i love boar boyz, after seeing the giant squig rider concepts, i really want orks to have those instead of boar boyz - they fit into 40k better than big boars |

| Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of playing any of the earlier Ork codexs. They looked like a right laugh. And where are these giant squig rider concepts? I want to see!

| Conscript ![]() | they were on a rival forum i shall not mention. but were removed by GW for some reason. very gool basically giant squigs a.l.a cold ones, but squiggly (with tails and big mouths) with 40k orks riding them. they looked great and i think would make great replacements for boars, which i think are a more fantasy thing. |

| Yeh, I'd agree with that. I just think that Squigs are much more Orky than boars are anyway.

Blog Entries: 1 | Up with Squigs! I'm not a fan of Feral Orks at all really, I hate boars with a passion for some reason.

| I agree with you, it makes perfect sense for Orks to be riding squigs, not boars.

| Perhaps if GW listened to us, they would get more people buying, and subsequently wouldn't need to hike their prices so much. Its all their fault......

| One reason prices are going up cause plastic is a petrolium product, and the price of petrolium is going up. OMFG man exploding weird boyz, squigs that are ridable. My army might of been orks if this stuff was usable. I also heard that they are going to sup up orks in the next codex due to the fact that they are just unpopular at the moment. Or so i have heard. |

Blog Entries: 1 | Plastic isn't a petrolium product ![]() It's a crude oil product, the same oil used to make petrol, and it's the crude oil price that's going up, ergo the price of plastic and petrol is going up.

| And the Sterling to Euro/Dollar conversion rate. It drives up stuff that little bit more for us.
