well i wanted a new race to paint and it was between necrons, orks, and dark eldar. so i let my wife choose what it was going to be, and she chose orks. here is the first one i painted. i dont like getting into a new race without a codex but here i just jumped right in i think he looks great for my first ork! waaaaaaaaggggghhhhhhh!

Your a really good painter! Nice Ork man. I like the fact you have a warmer skin tone to the GW Eavy Metal ones. When I eventually get some I will also plump for that kind of tone.

i really like the way the skin tone turned out that was my biggest worry. i used orkhide shade for the foundation, then catachan green, goblin green, camo green for the highlight, then a very light drybrush of bleached bone to finish.

ha ha ha after my terminators are done plauge marine termies are comming, and im using my tutorial with some extra stuff!

Very good! I really like the way you paint corroded metal. Every pic of yours I've seen, the metal looks like it has actually seen battle. Shiny metal? Not for me. I think SM are the only models that should have shiny metal.
