| Corporal ![]() | well I took a look at the official site and here are my thoughts about them: Boyz:too bad they lost 6 boyz but will make it up for having their special weapons (I think), coting less, and looking better Trukk:Looks totally kickass Burnas:look like they are elites now but have improved looks Lootas on't know what they do but they sound like the new Flash Gitz or somethingTankbustas:also seem to be elites now but are cooler looking and come with squid bombs! Killer Kan:looks like they are piloted by grots now but are still good Deff Dreads:are the same as the old dreads except the name Ghazghkull:Sounds awesome since you don't need 2000 pts (I think) Weirdboy, Painboy, and Shokk gun:don't know how they will work but sound awesome nevertheless Warbike:look menacing and come in a pack of three! Now I have some questions about them 1.is the big gun battery still there? 2.are stikk bombs still useable? 3.will there still be trukk boyz? 4.will they keep red paint job?

Blog Entries: 3 | haha no one really gave any real in depth comments about it.. overall the ork dex is GOOD. Balanced, and added flavor. They are really bringing in the waaggh, but its something to fear but not over fear. Its not cheesey, but not weak either. It is what armies should be with new codex's.

| The Witchhunter ![]() | indeed, i am just gutted i am banned from Orks. are the upgrade heroes any good? by that i mean the Storm Boyz and Fllash Gitz (possibly) special characters, or are they too over priced? essentially, to me at least it (as do all the new format 'dexs) look a lot easier to follow, and that you could manage to write a list in no time without having to think too hard about 'hidden' restrictions.

Blog Entries: 1 | Thanks to the decrease in costs of boyz, the new waaagh rules, and the furoious charge they almost all recieve the footslogger army might now be more viable in a more intensive setting. I've proxied it a few times and esspecially in the larger games the stormboyz and the point costs of the basic boyz really do shine above all in my opinion. Deff Koptaz from what I've seen can also be nasty if you use them right. Over all I think they gave the orkz a good bit of fire power with little to no control over it, just how it should be. So i'm excited to get as many boyz stuck 'n as I can. |

Blog Entries: 1 | They're even more impressive when you think of the fact that from the wording included in the actual codex and in the rulebook that they can move 24" in their scout movement phase since they can turbo boost. This is up to a bit of arguement, but from what I can tell from reading all the arguments and researching they can. This would give you enough speed to tear up to the enemy lines so quickly you'll beat even trucks into combat. |

| just played with the new orky 'dex last night in a staff challenge vs some 'nids... now despite our store's WIP army which lacks trukks, big mek's, nobs, burna boyz, kommandos, tank bustas, lootas, flash gitz, boyz, upgrades, battlewagons, looted wagons - erm okay most everything!!! i still came out on top however! my army was; - warboss w/mega armour - 10 boyz - 10 'ard boyz including nob w/power klaw & boss pole - 2x 5 bikers - trak w/twin-linked big shoota - deff dread w/2x ccw's + 2x additional ccw's - deff dread w/2x ccw's & 2x rokkit launchas - 3 killa kans; ccw's + 1 big shoota + 1 skorcha + 1 rokkit launcha the 'nids had alot of luck - downing most of my kans/dreads with puny glancing hits, but in the end, despite my slowness and lack of any ap2, the bugs had a wounded tyrant left... i had the cutty deff dread (imobilised by a jammy glacing hit!) warboss + 2 boyz, 7 'ard boyz & 1 kan w/rokkit launcha. more than enough to tackle the tyrant who'd already taken 2 wounds from the nob's power klaw! i'd say the new orks are great even with crap-tacular builds like our small store army! cheers!
