Default why aren't grots plastic?

I mean you need at least 12 of them to be effective and that would already cost you $30!

simple, GW knows they are effective in large numbers, so makes them in pewter which is more expensive, and charges more. i belive that this question calls for a

Frankly, Im surprised they make anything out of plastic. (for which they drastically overcharge, my work does injection molding... sure the die is expensive.... but $30 for 10or12 minis? PUHLEESE!)

*depending on the size of the machine, you get one cycle per 10sec, probably up to 10 or more complete sprues of parts per cycle= @ $15 per second, per machine*

Here's a tip: Take Vasaline when you go shopping for minis.... It'll hurt less, and give them less satisfaction!

Do you remember those horrible Gretchins that came out with 2nd ed! Bet you could get some of those really cheap off ebay.

because the current ones are the gorka morka ones carried over into 40k

I used some of the old grots as snotlings (darn just remembered I 100 more of those to paint too) Why, Why did I tell the wife you need 5000 points to make a good army.
