| The Omnissiah ![]() ![]() | I have had a go at making one of the planet maps. So far ive rendered the basic land and sea, and was wandering what people thought of it... ![]() Im thinking that the planet sector/zones idea could be used. I can add the borders later. Also i can draw any other features like hive cities and space ports etc. |

What I mean is, look at the Med V campaign, they only used land, unlike here, where sea is a prominent feature. Also, if this world was important enough for the Imperium to defend it like they do in campaigns, it'd have to be industriel etc. Ergo, little surface water.

| it will need loads of briges if you use it so it open's the campaign to kill team as you can have the bridges as targetable points with other objectives like ammo dumps etc

| well each island should be a sector then devide each island in to subsectores but about 4 subsectores per island gives enoght room to have a long campaign but not so many as to make it to hard to keep track of what is happening if you would like i will make some mok ups as i copped the map to play with on paint

| the bridges would only need to be lines on the map but they incure tactical dificultes to armes as it cuts lines of supply and blocks avenues of attack it also makes for some fun kill team games i will put together some plans but they will be quite bad as i only have paint

Blog Entries: 5 | Sectors: perhaps this is agri-world with small hives? or even a garden world? it's too green to be full-hive. (if it was full hive the ocean would be yellow/brown and pollution-y) but it's definitely good and useable. Since there's that much water, I'm tihnking we should get some serious off-shore-platforms goin :P

| the water based stations does sound good but it would make it more dificult to do as you would have to have water transports as well as bridges

| it is a good idea and all good ideas should be shown but it would creat some hard work for the guy who makes the map im not saying it is to be left out but that it gets thought about and it would require rules for it self even opening the chance for naval battles and naval sabotage by kill teams or mines layed to protect special areas the idea would need thought

| its just as good also it opens up the prospect of mountains being to high to cross and other things like that it but the other map has the same potential the new map is great the map looks great
