Vote for the Chapter Master you wish to lead the Space Marine forces in the Acheron campaign.

Arguement for my Chapter Master is:

The Storm Marines homeworld of Kelnin III, and the group of systems they protect, lie only slightly to the East of Acheron. The military council are so worried about the conflict that they have the 30th and 49th Kelnite just outside the Acheron system, with the Cellox Excessum (rotated after Medusa V) Storm Marines strike force already inserted. Once more personally lead by Chapter Master Icarus Athrasuriel, the 200 strong Space Marine force fight without rest and will let their fury know no bounds, for if they fail, Kelnin will be directly affected. The war in the Acheron system is of great military, economic and political concern to the Kelnites, and this will make Icarus a far more potent and willing commander than most others.

The Angels of Censure are a chapter of the 34th founding, created from Imperial Fist Geneseed. The chapter is characterised by its puritanical outlook and outright fanatic hatred of mutants, deviants, heretics and especially psykers. The chapter has fought in various campaigns and crusades across the galaxy, most notably in the Scouring of Dacia, in which the archmanipulist of Sartosa was hunted down and killed for his psychic holocaust.

The chapter itself is a very strict adherant to the Codex Astartes, though its puritanical outlook against pskyers dictates that it have no space for librarians. instead chaplains have taken a far more prominent role. The chapter is often requisitioned by the Inquisition to aid it in tasks of Imperial security (mainly the persecution and destruction of heretics and rogue psykers).

it is this relationship with the inquisition that has brought the Angels of Censure to Acheron, under the guidance of ___ (insert inquisitor name here)

Chapter Master Zehyrinus Hoth is regarded as the empitome of his chapters beliefs and his zeal and honesty are legend amongst his battle-brothers. his weapon of choice is the Spear of Gabriel, a gigantic power spear of archaic origin. he is often seen in an ornate suit of terminator armour with accompanied storm shield bearing a diorite chapter symbol, or, when marching to war with his command squad, wears a suit of revered arificer armour said to dae to the founding of his chapter.

im modelling him as we speak - a nice TRUE SCALE terminator with a gigantic spear (made from a standard bearer banner shaft, thunder hammer power generator and company champion sword all pinned together) and the big sergeant storm shield in a very greeky pose. hes also modelled in power armour for when i give him a command squad. shame i have no camera :

hmm... odd, my post from when i voted seems to have never posted itself, so i shall say what i said again.

wouldn't an interesting fluffy idea be that one of the other space marine commanders raises suspicion from his allies when he completly disregards/disobeys an order from the SM leader?

funny, i remember replying to it as well... and my response is missing too!

i thought it would be cool to have a rivalry between the marines, with my guys and the dwarvey guys not liking psykers and the Storm Marines using quite a bit of psykers, i can see quite a bit of tension. which is great cuz if theres one thing marines do better than killing heretics, its having adolescent tantrums with their brothers

I think I will throw my lot in with the Angels of Censure- simply to even the votes out. Also, all pyskers should be burnt! It's why my Eldar have no Farseers. Sorry Icarus- I still like your commander too!

So... I guess the Ultramarine commander is out the window...

Well, besides a kick-ass name, Chapter Master Gromnir has a long history of crusading. When they were founded, the Imperial Fists charged their brethren with the cleansing of the Kazak-Karaan system, and, more to the point, the Ork-infested mountain caves of the primary planet of the system, Kazak-Karaan. The Iron Lords took to this task with unbridled fury. The war against the Orks in the Kazak-Karaan system continues to this day. Master Gromnir has led over twenty five different purging crusades throughout the system, each time a different warboss entering the system to challenge the Iron Lords of their holdings, for the Ork believe the mountains of Kazak-Karaan are a sacred place to both Mork and Gork! Because of Gromnir's efforts, the Imperial Fists have granted a full compliment of 10 suits of Tactical Dreadnought armour to the Iron Lords in recognition of their great works. It is customary for Gromnir and his bodyguard to wear these suits.

Gromnir himself carries the great "Tome of Grievances", a book wherein the names of the Ork Warlords to enter the system are entered. Their most recent confrontation with the Warlord [insert Campaign Warboss here] has caused them to follow him to the Acheron system.

The Iron Lords distrust psykers because it was seen that although their Librarians could sense the Orks, and when they were to invade, the Orks could somehow sense them, too. Psykers attracted the Orks to their cave-fortresses, and since their initial cleansing of Kazak-Karaan, the Iron Lords have never had a psyker within their ranks.

Instead, they have a strong religious side. Gromnir is ever seen with the Master of Sanctity Thronlik, who assists in guiding the Chapter. It is Thronlik who maintains the Tome of Grievances, and incites the Iron Lords' hatred of Orks, and this makes them fight with particular ferocity against their eternal greenskin foe. Thronlik also records chronicles of the Crusades the Iron Lords undertake. Knowing at least one of these passages by heart is a requirement of all Iron Lords Space Marines.

Hello all!

Sorry I've been away for a bit of time- my computer was getting upgraded, so i couldn't get on the net at all for the last couple days. But God has kissed my boo boos and made everything better, and in high-def, as well.

a n y w a y s....I voted for Hoth as the commander's name. i really like the sound of "Lord Commander Hoth, Cleanser of so on and so forth". So anyways, that's my two reubles.

Can't wait to see the model,

For example, Icarus will be causing Hoth some frustration by using his own techniques
