|  Pro Painted? Who is thisguys named pro that is painting all these crappy models on Ebay? i mean isnt there a standard that these guys should be held to? i cant believe what some of these guys are calling pro painted its an epidemic on there im not talking of any listing in particualr but most of them i wouldnt call well painted let alone Pro painted im not by any means a perfect painter but after 15 yrs in the hobby i got a little skill but im no pro what do you guys think about this ? what can be done about it?

Blog Entries: 1  | Just ignore them and let the model speak for itself. Guys like that are just irksome, I have a friend like that, he even said his was Golden Daemon worthy. I wanted to smack him, because they look like, well, a blind 2 year old painted them. Not to metion the fact he uses krazy glue and such that melts the plastic and shaves NO mold lines. I say just ignore idiots like that man, or you'll end up wanting to strangle someone.

Blog Entries: 1  | Technically they are pro painted in that they painted them and selling them for money (even if they are at a loss!) I think it is embarrassing for them really, I mean who are they trying to kid!!

Blog Entries: 1 | Pro means professional, they are pro if someone buy's them. I prefer to judge a mini by GD standard. Any mini that gets showcased at Games day in a Golden Demon cabinate is GD standard. If I were a great pro selling on ebay, my sell pitch would be Golden Demon standard paint job. I have seen worse than the above!

Blog Entries: 4 | The main point is that Ebay is over run with titles like: MASTER painted HIVE TYRANT 40k!!! LOOK!!! (and it ends up being tabletop quality) if your going to sell, be honest, write painted or well painted on your title, but the liberal use of exclamation points, capital letters, and the words "Pro" and "Master" are making me sick.

| Ya I;ve noticed this too... most people outside the hobby think I paint fantastically but for me I consider the majority of my models above-average tabletop quality. It's possible these people are trying to just make more money off an uninformed buyer by adding "pro" and "master" but like you said any one with half a brain can figure it out. Baron
