   |  10k Sw Hello all, Thank you for all the positive replies to my Intro...just wanted to give you all a quick bit on the pups...Yes I have had the chance to play them all from time to time (at least those that are painted and assembled)except for a few pieces as I do restrain from breaking the force limitations imposed by the codex...Of course there is the fact that in a couple of cases I have had to form them into 2 seperate battle groups for sake of the sheer size of the game...LOL. My sons are of the opinion that the combined strength of the Ultras and DA are capable of defeating the mighty sons of RUSS(LMAO)...using an 8'x8' table...(I need longer arms...LOL) I have recently undergone an apiphany so am not sure what I have point wise at the moment (before my brainfar..I mean brainstorm I had exactly 9987 points) Right off the top of my head and after only one cup of coffee...I have all the specials, a custom WP, 2 WGBL, 2 iron priests and thralls, 6 squads of hunters, 3 1/2 squads of claws, 1 jump squad, 1 bike squad with attack bike (7 bikes total), one speeder squadron, 2 tornadoes, 1 custom typhoon, 11 WG squad leaders, 2 squads of WG termies, 1 squad WG (with a lascannon), 3 fang squads, 2 squads of scouts, 2 dreads, 1 ven dread, 3 Razors, 8 rhino, a whirlwind, a vindicator, 2 LRs (1 being a crusader), a russ(because I can), 3 preds, 10 wolves...and a partridge in a pear tree...(I feel like I'm forgetting something) Seriously though...I will try to get pics up for you all to see...but as I work wierd hours and as I said this is still a work in progress...(just got the fangs sorted out so am painting them and my NEW termies at the moment) it may be a coupla weeks...will keep you all apprised and again thanks for all the positive feeds...FOR RUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| woww and i thought jeffs army was big.... theres a guy in the GW i go to who has an 8k army and once we did a mega battle were it was everyone vs him i think you could face about 5 people at once =] |

| a true collection to be proud of no doubt! i look forwards to seeing pics as well  i'm sure you'll be thrilled to know that the forthcoming codex: apocalyplse will allow you to play with your entire force at once! no more need for FOC's - just slap it all on the table and go nuts! (but watch out for super heavies and stear clear of them when they go BOOM!  )cheers!

| thats allot of space puppies, yes you do have to post pics. The codex: apocalypse is going to nuts if you can use 10k points in a battle, i wounder how long it would take to complete the battle?

| last one I played against my sons was 7 and a half hours long...DA and Ultras against my pups...man what a fight...I got cramps from rolling so much..LOL...(and oh yeah...I won)

|  It's been a long time.... well I first started wargaming 27 years ago...when I got my first set of Gary Gygax's rules...the old D&D 3 book boxed set...there was a fourth book on table top wargame rules that went with the collection ...of course back then it was all medieval or fantasy...I got into 40k in 90, but was playing fantasy long before that...when evrything was metal except for the tanks...I started playin space pups back then but only had about 1500 points of troops and transports...I can say I have probably gotten rid of more models than I have now...but I am happy with this force and the look I have attained for them...will start posting pics of what is done and as I said some things may or may not be there as I am revamping what I have and trying to put newer models in place now...rest assured that it will still be the same massive force as I still want to complete a great company before I start my next Army...
