Another Army Poll - 40K Terra

Well, after having another look at the poll I put up, I've decided that it probably didn't encompass a wide enough range of possibilites. So here's another, more comprehensive one.

Please, if you vote, explain why you voted for the army you voted for.

I think Black Templars (or at least their rule set with your own fluff) would suit you most excellently in writing and fluff and even play style. Followed next would be Space Wolves. Or honestly, have you read the Soul Drinker novels? I am beginning the Omnibus and I think they might fit you as well.

People, when you vote for an army, think less of your personal faves or what you see less of. I find (i'm doing this with a group of friends who are looking into 40K now) that trying to fit the army to the personality and mentality of the player makes for a much more memorable experience. And lets face it... We all know Icarus... He's a Space Marine, pure and simple.

I think that the Black Templars offer a lot of gaming, modeling, and writing opertuneties(SP!). They offer a lot more than generic SM codex chapters, IMHO.
One more thing, IMO it's best not to go with the newest army release because there will already be a ton(litteraly) of people who will also be playing the newest release.
