Right I'm starting to run out of GW/BL books to read, the problem being that I'll only pick up those thats are: A) in paper back B) ones I think I'll enjoy I prefer 40K set ones though I have read some novels from the Fantasy setting. | Re: Which book to read next? Have you read any Douglas Adams? (E.g. Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Universe) I know it's not BL, but they're damn good.

| Re: Which book to read next? 15 Hours. I've been meaning to read Rebel Winter and Death World too(along with many, many others), but I haven't got around to it yet. 15 Hours is a really good read focussed on the Imperial Guard.

Blog Entries: 4 | Re: Which book to read next? To be honest, pick up some Battletech books. They are less about the blood and battle and more about politics, but don't let that scare you away! The ratio of talk to blood is usually about 60-40, more or less depending on the novel. There are 3 BT series of books right now, the Classic Battletech, Mechwarrior, and Dark Age. I suggest first reading the Mechwarrior novels since most of those are stand alone side archs that don't require you to have a working knowledge of the universe first. If you enjoy the less battlish 40k novels or Tom Clancy novels you will love Battletech.

Seriously does anyone look at the list I made before posting? @Erus- I own 2 of the 3 Last Chancers novels @von Lexus- I own a few Slayer books, Lord of the Night and have actually read the 1st Blackhearts book (should really add that to my list, your forgiven for that one) @Warchild- I own the Konrad Saga People suggesting books on other 'universes' that's ok- just tell me if they're likely to be stocked in major bookshop and what the authors names are. I did read all the Star wars books up till when Chewie dies, after that I stopped because it just wasn't star Wars any more for me.
