|  well, the 'flash' bit is because; a) these particular guns are 'flashy' as they've had lots and lots of kustom work done on them. b) they make even bigga, flashes when they shoot and they're also noisier too! 'gitz' is english slang for anything from a show-off to someone you don't really like! (like your school bully for example is a 'git' for always picking on those smaller than him/her!) so 'flash gitz' are orks who are envied by all the other boyz because their gunz are shiny, noisier and all 'round blastier than everyone else's and they also naturally don't share their excess wealth with the other boyz either! (all those custom jobs do add up ya know  )hope this helps, cheers!

Blog Entries: 1  | Actually, it's flash because: If someone is wearing alot of jewellery or expensive clothing, they're 'flashing' their wealth. Flash gitz show off their apparent wealth by having the biggest, loudest and shiniest guns. I beleive Stitch gave an adequate explanation of why gitz is used.

| and before the question comes up : if orks can get wealthy that quickly why arent there more flashgitzs the ork teef do not seem to last long. they dissolve, are stolen, restolen, rerestolen so on and so forth, and are often destroyed by all that stompin about.

| only the bad moon clan will have a disproportionate number of flash gitz. a bad moon ork's teef grow unnaturally quick and therefore they simply have a fairly limitless supply of currency! the biggest orks in a bad moon warband are undoubtably encased in mega armour and their shootas have likely had numerours 'kustum jobz' done on them... (so basically you can think of them as flash gitz nobz in mega armour!  )the other tribes tend to look down on the bad moons as they envy their wealth! or else the tribe, such as the snakebites, simply have a perverse disdain of any technology more complex than a basic shoots/slugga! still others, such as the goffs like to prove that they're the 'ardest of all and prefer to fight up close and personal, meaning they just don't take the time to shoot their enemies up first!!! cheers!
