how do you write in the blank apocalypse datasheet?

i dont know if this is in the right forum so move it if nessecary but how do you fill in the blank apocalypse datasheet?

or to do it simply i guess you could open in paint or another paint program and use the text option

Here's how I do it. It's kinda' a long process, but really simple.

• When you're on this page, right click on the Blank Datasheet link, hit "save link as". When the save window thingy pops up, rename the file from "Blank_Datasheet.pdf" to "Blank Datasheet.jpeg" Click the "Save as type:" drop down menu menu directly below the filename, and select all "All files". Hit save.
• Now you'll need GIMP 2 to edit it, which can be found here. Download the latest version, install it, and all that crap.
• Now you can open the Blank Datasheet.jpeg with GIMP. When you try to open the Blank Datasheet.jpeg, you'll get some funky pop-up window asking you something. Just click the Import button.
• edit it to your hearts desire, and save it as a .jpeg.

That might be kinda' hard for a technotard to follow, pics anyone? I can take this one step further and tell you how to turn that .jpeg into a .pdf document if you want.
EDIT: Jpeg to PDF This process is really simple:

• Download PDF reDirect from here. Install it, and view the readme so you understand the basics of how it works.
• Open the data sheet .jpeg hit File, then Print, and select the PDF reDirect Pro v2 printer.(depending on which version you downloaded, it might not contain the word Pro)
• This should open up the actual PDF reDirect Pro v2 program. Under the merge list, there should be something like: Printer Output 022508421 (145kb). What that says doesn't really matter, it's just the datasheet.jpeg.
• Look at the PDF Output Filename. Name the filename whatever you want, and hit save.

Now you have a handy little .pdf datasheet.

i have written one but it is too big to upload onto the forum. I have done all that but when i open it i cant open it with GIMP 2.

Templar, I said thanks but Im not sure it does me any good. my instructions are...
1) push blue button and wait for the "dah dum de dummmmm" noise
2) push button twice fast when finger is on explorer
3) type "www.40k" and then 40kterra pops up, make blue and push button fast twice again
4)push button twice fast with finger on forums

I even have them written down in case i forget! my wife loves me so much!!! LOL

on a side note- how do you go about selecting 1 page from a PDF file (say, Imperial Armour Apocalypse) and alter into a jpeg file? Is that even possible?

I may play around with this a little more, but adobe reader has a handy snapshot tool. You can try selecting the whole page with that, and pasting it into an image editing program like GIMP.

Yes, I have a full, LEGAL copy of it. I help out with some local clubs and their newsletters, and it's better than publisher (which is utter carp). Although it is sometimes a small matter to alter the permissions to allow this to be done (in general, though, most GW pdfs don't have anything blocked).
