|  I just won a free battleforce from GW!!! So I entered their contest from a few months ago for suggesting local retailers to carry GW. Since I was the first to suggest a local store of mine that started carrying it, I won a free battleforce or battalion of my choice. I'm so excited!!! I just got the reply back from GW! I've never won anything before in my life! I called everyone from my dad to my girlfriend to tell them! Oh man, the hilarious part is I was just in the store the other day and thought their GW supply sucked, and I figured since there was an official GW across the street (it closed a few months ago) that it was GW's doing. But little did I know they were carrying it because of me!!! Now to decide the battleforce!!! |

| I've played WoW and never seen that... But anyway, thanks!!! Now, should I get the SM battleforce for myself or the CSM battleforce for the girlfriend? I don't really need anything that comes in the SM box except possibly the marines. Since I know nothing about fielding Chaos can anyone tell me if the CSM box comes with anything good? |

 | WoW: when someone levelled theyd say Ding, and everyone wold reply GZ ? lol thats how its always been (no idea if its jst UK or what...lol) CSM Battleforce: rhino (transport) 15 cs marines (troops) 8 khorne berserkers (troops) 5 possessed cs marines. (elites) its great for adding to a force, or even as the website says, starting lol. i think you mentioned she wanted to play ranged, and some guys advised 1k sons yea? well then the khorne guys would be a bit of a waste unless she'd want to field them as something to help chew up CC guys. the possessed just fleet forwrad and chew stuff up in CC also (albeit they get special rule that you for at start of game) so theyr emainly CC too... then youve got the normal marines that can be used for whatever you want... (suppose you could just clip off the khorne berserkers ears and use them as normal marines, **file off the khorne symbol too if you realy wanted lol** ) and yea, the rhino, great for CC dudes, and if shes playing 1k sons, i doubt she'd be too eager to pelt them forward in the rhino... (unless shes using the khorne to tie some guys up...lol) think about whether it would really benifit your girlfriend with what she actually wnats and how she wnats to play before deciding. Other than that you could just expand on your own force and get that SM chapter on the go

| I would think, if anything, she'd benefit from the Chaos Marines and Possessed Marines models. I honestly don't need, or have use of, a battleforce for my army. And none of the figures really fit in to my plan for Apocalypse. |

| Well, I'm going to get the SM battleforce, just because my girlfriend doesn't know how she wants to set hers up yet. Plus, too many models may overwhelm her while she's still learning the rules. Later on I'll probably get her the CSM battleforce. |
