Modeling variant xv8s - 40K Terra

I'm not sure where this would go, so iput it here. I just recently got my hands on some more XV8s and was wonderign if their was any way that i could model them so that the weapons were interchangeable? I mean there are so many different configurations for XV8s and so many battlefield roles that it owuldn't be in the be the most economically efficient method to buy a ton of XV8s and equip them all differently. So is there somethign I can do so that my weapon choices on my XV8s aren't permanent? It would be a different story for tournaments of course.

well, i'm not too with it on how the crisis suits build, but rare earth magnets is what you're looking for!
they'll allow you to swap around weapons no problem!

you can get them on-line and/or from specialist hobby stores

yea those work really well if you have units that have interchangable weapons. ive seen someone use magnetic weapons for the tau tanks. using the same frames, but when he wasnt using a devilfish he made it a skyray. something like that. rare earth magnets are very useful, though a bit pricy.

Thanks guys, thats perfect, exactly what i needed. They may be a little pricy, but still cheaper than paying 20 bucks for another crisis suit everytime i need a different one.
