| Well he did start out recruiting but after going into exile he captured and forced their coversion out of necessity. Why not ultras, wolves, and templars?

| Trooper ![]() | ultra's are all to rigid to codex and as far as I know have never gone chaos, the templars are way to zealous and the wolves..well...there just wolves, not much more I can say there...but all that being said those three chapters have the most unblemished records as far as chaos and fallen marines. |

Blog Entries: 4 | Sounds like they're pulling a "Souls Drinkers". The Soul Drinkers chapter was tricked by a demon into thinking he was a vision from the Emperor, as a result they became mutated. The demon was attempting to damn them and turn them to Chaos for its own use, but they rejected it and defeated it when it showed its hand. Through the course of the books they discover how corrupt the Imperium is and break from it. However they are loyal to the Emperor, but not the Imperium. Your chapter sounds like it could be like the Soul Drinkers to me

| Ok I just read something online on wikipedia about the different chaos gods and now it is so freaking obvious that Cornelius is under the influence of Tzeentch. I mean think about it, Tzeentch is the Chaos god of change, sorcery, Machiavellian scheming, power craving and subtle manipulation. And what have my marines done, been changed, now feel the ends justify the meens, and have been so manipulated into thinking they are right. What do yall think?

| Well they may not have recruited from the ultras, wolves, or templars but if they were sent after the cult when Cornelius escaped into exile and were captured they would have been forced to convert. That's why among the cults ranks are former members of even the most rigid chapters. More fluff: For in his travels while in exile Cornelius was troubled, "if I destroy his enemies why does my emperor condemn me" he would ask himself and it was that gnawing question that would start his gradual drifting away from the imperium. He began to pity those whom still followed the emperor so blindly, so he came to the resolve that they needed saving and those that could not be saved would be killed. In battles that followed he would be seen preaching on the field, his words pressing his army forward but also calling to others to join with him. In one account a marine came within striking distance of Cornelius and Cornelius met his gaze and spoke directly to him and his comrades saw the marine fall to his knees and plead to be turned. Cornelius touched him with his hammer and the marine arose and turned and fought his own chapter. :End fluff Man their story is coming along nicely!

Blog Entries: 4 | Because this sounds so much like the Soul Drinkers, you could fluff it as the Tzeentch demon "Abraxes" who had failed to turn the Soul Drinkers and is now trying again....but this time succeeding.

| I don't think that I need to name that specific daemon since I'm sure Tzeentch has others. But I have to say it does add more depth to my army if that was the plan of Tzeentch, to try again.

| Thank yall! The paint scheme is already done their armour is a metal colour with scorch marks on the hands and feet and anything else I feel needs it. Their armour is metal coloured because the coversion process burns off all their colours down to the metal, and the scorching is from the black dwarf they call home which is still a very hot place and scorches their armour. Modelling on the other hand I haven't decided yet but the troops are going to be chaos based but the hardest part will be modelling Cornelius himself especially his hammer which I know I will probably need to alter with GS. But the real fun part will be modelling Mulciber, even if he isn't a figure I will be able to field at some point.

| Really, than what is it? Just curious because I've never read up on their armour. Hmm, I guess I might have to rethink their look.

Blog Entries: 1 | All coated in adamantine....I'm almost 99% on the fact the Power Armor is at least 10% metallic.

| If 40K ceramite is anything like modern Ceramic Armor, it could be any color from pinkish-tan to black, depending on the exact materials used, and, of course, the place of manufacture. I'm sure it could even be metallic, if you decide that the STC warrants it. Heck, it's your army. BTW, the fluff does sound a lot like the Red Corsairs, in that your converts could come from any Chapter, as did the Red Corsairs. I remember seeing pics in the 2004-2005 GW Catalog and the 3rd Edition revised CSM Codex that shows Space Wolf converts to Red Corsairism.

Blog Entries: 1 | Ultra Marines and their successors fall all the time... There is a big story in the CSM Codex detailing the fall of a squad of Ultra Marines...Since Ultra marines and their successors make up the majority of the Space Marines in the modern Imperium then I'd also assume that the majority of CSM that turned after the Heresy are of Ultra Marine or a successor's chapter. Its the Grey Knight and Iron Hands that don't have a single fallen marine.

| Yes but unlike the red corsairs, Cornelius is altering their genes to match those given to him by Mulciber. It kind of overrides their current genes, it's why all their eyes glow.

| Hahaha, mabey not fallen but taken. Those taken prisoner are subjected to horrible things intended to break their will and then when they are touched by the hammer they have less chance to resist it's taint, and it not only changes their genes it twists their minds until they fallow Cornelius without question. Only the most powerful can resist it. No propaganda would sound more like this: "Mulciber bless us all, join us and his blessing will be yours. Power will be yours. Glory will be yours! We shall bring down the faithless and they shall burn in our wake, hunted we are but punished they will be. Brothers and sisters we shall receive you with opened arms, loving arms. So cast off your wicked ways and come to us, all you need is but to kneel before me and Mulciber's blessing will be yours." Cornelius Incendia

Blog Entries: 4 | I smell a Demon Weapon, it would be nice if someone could write up some balanced stats for that. *hint hint*

| Lol, well it was given to him by a daemon. Hmm balanced stats, this could take a while. I'll have to do some research on daemon weapons, hammers, and attacks.
