For Space Marines, adding a PM SB adds those extra two shots, which, on a Vindicator, will keep it usefull after it loses its big gun.(It's bound to happen) Pintle weapons are even more usefull on IG and Chaos vehicles, adding 3 shots or powerful special weapon shots, making a Chaos Rhino more effective.

Blog Entries: 1 | it kinda depends on what the vehicle will be doing during the game. if it's going to be sitting at the back of your army lobbing shells at the enemy, or if it's on tank hunting duty, then you can leave the pintel off. if the tank is gonna be getting stuck in killing infantry at close range then a pintel mount willl come in handy. |
