(i hope our prices for dexes and ABs dont go up along with you guys :P) imean 'dexes / AB's have gone up 15$ CDN for us in the last 4 or 5 years (4 or 5 years ago i got Dark Elves AB for 20$ CDN. due to various circumstances i needed an new one so a bout a month ago i went and bought it for 35$CDN - keep in mind canada is 14% tax. now if this affects canada the price will MOST LIKELY add 5$ again for us canuks. that's doubling the price in 5 years)

| booo price raise...booooo. at least it's not like a huge increase. and yea, for your sake and those others of us in canada, i really hope it doesn't affect your pricing. canadian taxes are really crazy, sheesh : / sigh, what can you do about it though ?

Blog Entries: 1 | well in the uk we're paying £12 for a codex, which depending on the exchange rate works out to be about $24us. so you guys are still gettin it a bit cheaper than we are. and our prices are likley to go up soon too.

| I think we're safe from any more price rises this year though Yahoo... ours happened at the beggining of the year (Dreadnoughts went to £25, as did Termies) but 'dexes are still ok!

Blog Entries: 4 | It amazes me that we all act so surprised that we are getting ripped off by GW (we have been for years and will continue to do so), but the fact is we all put up with it cause its a hobby we enjoy. All I suggest is try and buy your models from other suppliers rather than a GW store itself-try eBay youll get a wider range and cheaper prices! I havent bought anything from a GW store in over 18months yet I have built an Eldar army and started a Guard one! |

| Ya, Ebay is good... unless you search really hard, you won't always find really good deals... but even saving a couple of dollars hear and there can add up. Also, discount stores like Battlewagonbit.com can really be helpful. I mean, 20% off and GOOD shipping prices (not like the really bad GW ones!) is really nice (note: I have not bought anything from battlewagonbits, but I have browsed their site, and if I do buy anything for my small 40k army soon, it'll be from them).

Blog Entries: 4 | The main thing is to avoid the must have it now impulse! Get over the "hit" of walking out from the shop with what you want right now! It makes you consider your force more carefully as well! After hunting round on eBay and bbiding my time I managed to get 2 Eldar support platforms for £3.50 each, 16 Eldar guardians for £4.50 and 10 Imperial Guardsmen for £60 all with free postage and packing, all on the sprue in new from box condition and these are not one offs they happen all the time!! All you dont get is the box but hey that just gets chucked out anyway! |

| guys, you have to take this with a bit of salt. things are always getting more expensive, but you are (should at least) be getting annual 'cost of living' raises to counter this. and as for canadian taxes, thats what happens when you have national health insurance and other lovely socialist things. hooray psuedo communism!! |
