| Just list the models that gave you biggest headache in any game system. 40k- Tyranid Red Terror...the tail and bottom jaw refuse to stay attached. Fantasy- Dwarf Gyrocopter...those bloody roaters just won't go on right. ![]()

| My evil assault marines... I used the jump pack legs and they refused to stay glued! Next time I buy a box I'm using the normal legs.

| Eldar Dire Avengers. The ass is seperate from the legs...and that throws off the hole that the torso goes in. Then the arms are a weird shape so its hard to glue them on the body before putting the gun in them. Then its hard to glue the hands to the gun before gluing them to the body. It'd be easier if the gun was seperate fromt he hands..but thats not the case.

| hmmmm... well, some of the more involved conversions i've done have been a right pill to try and build! (even when pinning them...) however, i hated building the space marine land speeder! the upper & lower body never seem to join up properly and even with 6 elastics holding it together of over an hour, i still had a number of annoying gaps left to fill in!cheers!

| Oohh.. Well, as mentioned, Dire Avengers were a pain to build first time (after 3 or 4 it became easier) I think I'm gonna have to go with Shining Spears. If their legs weren't in the exact spot then their body would be slightly out of place, so then the control-thing on one of the arms wouldn't go in right, and then the legs needed to be taken out again... Arrgh, they really were a pain!

| anything metal. it refuses to simply melt and resettle like the plastic. especially the heavy bolter devastator i bought last friday. the bolter arm will not fit with the chest or the arm place

| ZOEANTHEROPES!!! ARGHHH!!! god how i hate them. i am actually remodeling my tyranid army because they break all the time. they have a gigantic head, it must weigh 3 times more then the body, and the body is tiny. i cant pin it either, since i dont have enough money for a pin vice every single time ive played with my nids they have broken. its insane. |

Blog Entries: 1 | Yah, Assault Marine legs don't like to stay glued, especially on uneven bases. Conversions with metal are an absolute pain! I still shudder when I think about how long it took to convert that single Tankbusta. |

| hmm i solved the assault marine legs problem real easy. i just took some of the black sprue that the bases come on and slid that under their feet and glued it to them and the base. i just covered it in sand and the model looks pretty good!

| Trooper ![]() | My Penitent Engine was pretty annoying but I'd have to say the worst I've had to work with are my Fantasy Orc Boar Boyz and 40k Rough Riders. Those friggin lance arms drive me crazy! Oh and Ork Storm Boyz too!! Most of these are my own fault since I've never gotten up the ambition to pin anything on my own. |

Blog Entries: 1 | csm obliterators are a headache to build. the larger bits are ok but the dozen or more little fiddley bits that go on the arms are a nightmare. after the seventh time of having them stick to my finger instead of the model i tried tweezers, and when they weren't catapulted accross the room 'cos i was squeezing too hard they stuck to the tweezers!?!

| the age of insects ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | hmm. i prefer plastics more than metals, but the downright stupidest thing i've ever encountered is probably the CSM plastic HB. honestly, the parts just don't fit together, so you have to either shave or GS to fill/remove the gap. UGH. scouts are a bit of a pain sometimes, but not super bad. the pistol holster doesn't always let the torso fit on though XD nothing too horrible i've encountered yet, though i hear the LRC hurricane bolters are a pain too haha -ant

| I know someone who can't get the multi-melta to stay on, Glued one of the sponsons upside down, Put the front door on the wrong way and can't get the assault cannons to stay straight... BUT he refuses to go near it because he considers it to be alright for all the trouble he had.

| The only model where I was forced to use super glue accelerant was the LotR Giant Bat Swarms. Yes forced, I was just lucky I wasn't in California or I might have gotten cancer. If you want a 40k model then it might be the Catachan plastics because the pieces are set up to make your models look dumb if you arent careful and then you have to putty all of the shoulders to make them look decent.

| SM devastators. The metal hvy bolter never sits right, and the new plastic ones will only go into one position easily-ish, much to my dismay when trying to convert. Them's the breaks I guess.

| Trooper ![]() | My SM friend complained about his hurricane bolters constantly while we painted :P I'll let him know he's not the only one. Too bad the first time he brought it on the table I blew it up with a melta gun (and killed 4 of the marines inside) before it could even shoot. For me, I hate anything where you attach metal to plastics. Getting the extra armor compartment on my sentinel was frustrating. The worst I've done, though, is definately the Hellhound. Trying to glue those stupid metal plates around a plastic turret. I ended up throwing the turret accross the room once. I eventually got it, but then the fuel tanks wouldn't fit either. They fit into the chimera body where the lasguns would normally be, but the little inlets on the fuel tanks weren't spaced correctly, so I had to shave little slopes on the outer ones to get them to fit into the holes. argh..... |

| i've heard that the shining spear aspect warriors are a real bugger to put together? something about the legs not fitting very well to the jetbike... any eldar players here with experience of those and if so, any advice as i'm planning on including a full 5 man squad, as well as using the legs for converting guardian jetbikers. (as the old 2nd ed. guardian pilot looks silly!) cheers!
