Hmm... ideas for diferent rp?

Okay, Well, up till now, we've have had 5 RPs held in this forum. 2 completed, 2 uncompleted (one is still in progress... the other seems to have fizzled out) and one sorta just ended.

Anyways... now, besides the barfight RP... we haven't done much other than the most ovious of all 40k Rps... inquisition.

Now, while this is perhaps the best Rp to do considering it allows for any normal humans (and under some circumstances, Xenos, and possibly eldar). Now, what I was thinking was I'd open up the forum to suggestions for other kinds of Rps.

While, for instance, we could do a IG or possibly an SM RP, I don't think it'd be that fun... you just get your orders, destroy something, and then get more orders...

Now, just as a suggestion, I'd like to point out Black Industries (BL's RPG dev. wing) is in the process of publishing a 40kRPG, which will come in 3 parts, Dark Heresy, dealing with the Inquisition, Rogue Trader, which allows you to create a crew of a Rogue Trader, and Deathwatch, which allows you to create a squad of Deathwatch marines.

Now, with come creativity, I'm sure that these are not the only possible RP ideas... so, if anyone wants to try something other than your standard Inquisitor RP, please post up.

We could be young dark Eldar living on the mean streets (like theres any other kind) of the dark city and our struggle for survival and eventual forming a kabal and rising to power

Or we could be a band of kroot mercenaries roving the galaxy looking for work (and DNA variety)

Or we could be Eldar corsairs and raid imperials and do what ever the hell we feel like...maybe plunge into the eye of terror in search of crone worlds

I actually like the idea of a band of mercs or something along those sorts. I think it'd leave much more room for character customisation and for plotlines.
Anyone agree with me?

i like the idea of the mercenary band, not kroot though (hard to write for them, dont you think?) eldar pirates sounds good.

I too like the idea of a mercenary band, maybe not entirely Kroot, but still with room for Xenos.

Yeah! A band corsairs/mercs, with the GM being the Cpt of our motley crew
