OOC:Okay, I'll be on holiday for the next week (starting early tommorrow morning), so I'm posting this up, then let you guys post.

Cyin had arrived on this planet, Kettorth III, two months ago with his rentinue. He had arrived on the planet due to the rumors of a chaos cult of Tzeentch. When he had arrived he had set up a base of opperations, and, for the most part, worked on uncovering the cult.

However, this was easier said than done, the cult was hidden deeply behind several gangs, all of which had formed uneasy alliances due to this cult (suposedly). Though Cyin had no doubt that the cult in question existed, it was becoming harder and harder to track down.

Finally, though, he had made a breakthrough, a contact the arbites had in the gang, Deathstriders had managed to join the cult, he was planning on meeting Cyin, alone, that night.

OOC:Okay, introduce your characters. When I get the chance, I'll post up Cyin's conversation with this guy. Oh, and btw, if you want, you guys can go off and explore or something.

Mac did not like this place he knew why they where here and he was prepared for a fight but this was worse he had to wait Mac hated waiting. The journey here had been boring enought. So he had decided to get some training in while the inquisitor was carrying out the investigation. Mac was using there base as a training ground. He set up a firing range behind the building and used it to practice his shooting. Mac did not trust the gangs and gangs where unpredictable. Mac was worried when the inquisitor told him that he was going to meet the contact in one of the gangs alone so he decided to set up near where the meeting was going to tack place. He had found a nice bar near by so he was going to wait there just in case.

OOC: hope you dont mind macs little bit of espionage. also hope you have a nice holiday.

Stilheim set off in search the nearest shrine to the mighty emperor. He found one nearby the established HQ, and began a fiery tirade that held the passer bys in awe. Relishing in the fear and respect his position commanded, he bellowed out a prayer to the masses and recieved a thunderous response.
Stilheim could feel that the emperor himself was smiling upon him that day.

OOC: Don’t you love mooching off wireless…

Cyin walked down the night streets of the capital. He didn’t like the fact that he was in one of the most dangerous parts of the city, but, then again, he was pretty dangerous person himself.

He arrived at the arranged meeting place, once there, he backed into the shadows, one hand on his ornate power sword, the other on his bolt pistol, though he kept the safety on.

He waited for five minutes before a figure came out of the growing shadows, Cyin himself staying in the shadows until the man came close enough to be identified; it was his man.

“You’re late, Vten.”

The man jumped, he turned around and looked at Cyin, “Man! You scared me, be careful for Throne’s sake!”

“You got the information that I requested?” Cyin asked.

“Yes, you’ll find all the information about the cult on this datadisk, everything from information on their leaders, what the cult believes, and how many devotees it has. Oh, and what are the major gangs in the cult.”

“Good, good, thank you Vten, I owe you one.”

Mac had moved to the meeting place before the inquisitor could get there and found a hidding place on a near by roof. He set up his kit he had a long las and a pair of binoculars. He set up the binoculars to see the meeting place and then layed down and waited. Hopefully nothing would happen but just in case he was ready. The contact showed up late and semed to hand Cyin some thing then he heared some thing near by. Mac moved fast he had chosen the same place for his hidding place as a sniper he waited for this sniper to set up then he jamp at him after a short strugle he nocked the young man out. Mac tied him up and carried him to the H.Q. as Cyin had left when he got back he dumped the young man in to a cell while he waited for cyin to turn up.

OOC: seemes we have a witness and data from the informant this will be easy not.

OOC:Cool idea infiniti.

Cyin walked into the cell of the prisioner, the man was short, ugly and had a large mop of hair on his head.

"I don't believe I got your name," Cyin said.

The man did not reply.

Cyin hit the man between his legs, at which the man cursed loudly, "your name please, otherwise this will get most painful."

"Jek. Jek Stringer, I work as a point man for the Vikx, its a gang in this town."

"So then, why did you attack my man?"

"You arbitites, your all the same, arrogant b****ds, why should I tell you anything."

Again, Cyin hit Jek between his legs, then said, "I'm afraid that I'm not an arbities," Cyin pulled up his sleeve revealing a tatoo of the inquistor seal on his arm, "I'm Inquistor Lord Cyin."

OOC:We'll let this guy rot for a while, I'll let both of you post, then we'll move onto busting up some cultists.

Stilheim returned to HQ, to see what the plan was, and saw the prisoner in the holding cell. He felt the urge to eviserate the heretic, but held back only because he may be important to the inquisitor. He venemously addressed the prisoner, "you're lucky that lord Cyin values you so, for the emperor would surely love to judge you himself and condemn your soul to oblivion!", all the while craddling his blessed eviserator.
The prisoner visibly shaking and reeking fear, Stilheim turned his attention to the matter of the the tzeentchi cult. He was briefed on the situation, all the gangs and connections between them and the vile cult, so he prepared his soul for the horrors that would surely be put forth in front of him.

Mac was listning to the inquisitor interigate the prisoner while he prepared his kit to go hunting for this cult. Mac had goten hold of some melta bombs (for Emergencies). and he had his trusty lasgun and some frags. he decided to pray to the emporer for protection, and for some good beer afterwards, and the strength to crush this cult. after he did his prare he went to the cells to collect the sniper rifle tacken from the young man after that he used one of the 5 photon grenades he carrys after a battle with the tau 3 years agohope fully no one would no about them or he was in trouble. Mac decided to test the rifle as it was a nice piece of kit so he went to his firing range out back and fired a couple of shots. He got 4 out of 5 bullzies. so he cept a hold of it for some fun later.

OOC: You guys can have whatever weapons/wargear that you want... now, on to the Interragation.

Zen had been ordered by Cyin to interragate the prisioner. He walked into the room and looked at the man, he was pitiful really, nothing more than your standard ganger, Zen sighed, he wouldn't even need to use his interagation "implements" on the man.

Zen asked Jek a few questions, but he quickly realized that the man knew less than Zen did. Finally, he left the room and contacted Inquistor Cyin, "Sir, the man is useless, he doesn't know anything of value to us. However, the local security forces may be able to make use of him, I would advise you to turn him over to them."

"Very well, do as you wish," Was Cyin's reply.

Cyin and his men spent the next few days going through the information on the cult that they had. It was quite extensive, however, to get to the bottom of this cult they would have to take out its leaders, two men, the leader of the Knives Gang and his rogue pyker advisor. However, both of these men had for the past four years eluded the arbites, how had been searching for them all over the capital and outlying cities.

With this in mind Cyin decided the best plan of action was to begin breaking up the cult in the capital, where it was strongest. He, his men and a couple of arbites would begin tonight.

OOC: Okay, we're going to bust up the cult, have a post about getting ready, and then we can fight.

Mac decided to find the small group of arbites that would be going with them to see how good they where. He found them in the dinning hall and told them to follow him after putting them thought there paces Mac went to the briefing room to talk to Cyin about the arbites he thought that they where good and where capable of taking on the cult if they followed orders. but he was still unsure as he would prfere more and he would prefere it if they where under his command as he thought that they might get in the way.

OOC: how many arbites are comming and whats there gear?

As soon as the briefing was over, Stilheim returned to his quarters and picked up his book "the emperor's psalms". While reciting the holy lines, he was sanctifing his eviserator in various blessed unguents and oils, to better slay the heretical cultists and their their unholy minions.
Stilheim was convinced that he could deal with whatever could be thrown at him, but packed his laspistol that he recieved upon recieving his current assignment, just in case.
He than sat down and, while waiting for nightfall, enjoyed a grox meat soup.

Inquisitor Cyin and his retinue formed the spearhead of the attack force they were in. The servitor with his heavy bolter would form the rear guard.

The three arbites working with the group breached first. They fired their shotguns and smashed through the room, killing several people in it.

As the rest of the group moved into the building Cyin almost thought they had found the wrong building, but, he quickly changed his mind as the sound of lasfire filled the air; the cultists were attacking.

Cyin activated his powersword as a cultists charged him. He slashed the man in two and then fired a beam of energy from his hell-pistol at another cultist.

OOC: I’d say about 12 more cultists in the room, both of you guys post, and then I’ll end this little bit of combat. Don’t worry though, we have a lot more combat to come.

Stilheim revved up his eviserator with a blood thirsty roar, and charged at the nearest cluster of heretics. He impaled one with a wet splutter, pulled it to the side, slicing the fool nearly in half, and evisarated another unlucky cultist with a baleful prayer on his lips.
Stilheim got clipped on his arm, but he hardly registered it as his blood was running hot with adrenaline.

Mac ran at the first cultist smashing his head in with the but of his lasgun. he charged at the rest of the cultists swinging his lasgun like a club smashing heads left right and centre. one cultist blocked his attack nocking his lasgun out of his hands so he punched the cultist then jamp on to him breaking his neck. after the short engagement he was out of breath.

OOC: here we go!

OOC:Hey, this is just a tip to keep combat a bit more oraganized, but at the end of ever combat post, note the amount of enemies you've killed, that way its easy to see how combat's going.

As Mac fell back from the combat Zen rushed forward blasting two cultists with his bolt pistol and then drawing his combat knife. He slashed one then another cultist with the short, deadly blade.

Finally the servitor came into the building. As the cyborg-like creature began to fire the cultists scampered for cover, any that did not escape were killed by the hail of bullets the heavy bolter released.

Cyin rushed out the back door, pursueing the cultists, to his surprise he found they had gone down a hatch in the bottom of the floor. He called the rest of his party into the room, and then prepared to go down the tunnel.

OOC:Quick battle, but it'll be followed up to with another one, mutants and several other baddies will be in this one however.

OOC: Can do, commissar

Stilheim took the time to examine his wound, finding it to be nothing more than a mild cut in his flesh. He wiped down his eviserator with his robe as well as time allowed, when he heard Cyin yell.

Stilheim revved up his weapon once again and charged down the tunnel a little bit ahead of the others. He narrowly ducked a sweep from a monstrously deformed arm and struck back by sawing off the warp tainted limb, than cutting the abomination's chest open. A scrawny cultist tried to take advantage of the situation, but Stilhim managed to shoot him in the throat.

OOC: That'd be 1 mutant and 1 cultist dead

mac charged after Stilheim firing his re colected lasgun down the tunnel at the second mutant killing it with 3 head shots. as he caught up with Stilheim he drew his bayonet and fixed it to his lasgun he stabed a cultist in the chest before it could fire at Cyin. he then nelt down to increase his accuracy as Stilheim was ahead again so he tried not to hit him. firing of to shots he killed another cultist then he got up and charged again as the arbites had caught up with the small party. mac lunged at a third mutant only to be throne against the wall which winded him.

OOC:1 mutant, 2 cultists and mac is down. but not beaten

OOC: Dead count, 3 cultists, 2 mutants dead.

Cyin was in the middle of the fight, he powersword cut with ease through the pathatic armor the cultists wore. Several autogun shots pinged harmlessly off his chest as he turned to see an approaching group of cultists. He raised his bolt pistol and launched three bullets and the men, killing two of them.

OOC: Okay, Cyin's killed a few of the mutants (read 2) in the melee, and we add to that the 2 cultists I've already killed, that gives us 5 dead cultists, and 4 dead mutants... lets say we have 12 more baddies (any mixture of cultists and/or mutants) left.

Stilheim was approached by two mutants, one had a monstrously oversized jaw, brimming with sharp teeth and the other had barbed tentacles where hands should have been. He lifted up his eviserator and cut the toothed mutant on half, starting at the head, spraying corrupted matter on a group of cultists approaching Mac.
The tentacled mutant whipped an appendage at Stilheim's leg, tripping him. It came closer, a malicious smile on its lips, thinking the game to be over.
Stilheim pulled out his laspistol and fired 3 shots into the abomination's chest, knocking it back...into a pair of cultists wielding rusty swords, impaling it with a pained hiss.
As Stilheim painfully pulled the tentacle from his leg, the pair of surprised cultists grogily attempted to get out from under the dead bulk of the mutant.

OOC: That'd be 2 more mutants dead and two currently trapped under a dead mutant, but alive still

mac came to only to discover he was in the middle of a fight he swung at a pair of cultists. he decapitated them with his bayonet. then he shot a mutant in the head with his lasgun the mutants head exploded.

OOC 2 cultists, 1 mutant.

Zen and Cyin charged the cultists firing into them. They hacked and slashed and the fiends, killing three of them.

Meanwhile the Arbites came in range of their shotguns, they fired off several rounds, killing five more of the traitorous warriors.

As the cultists fell back the warriors charged them moving deeper into the sewer system.

OOC: 8 baddies dead of various types, at least three of which were cultists. Oops! That 13... oh well, we continue into the sewer, no combat for the next posts.

Stilheim used the lull in combat to examine the lair of the heretics. Graffiti was everywhere, many variations on proclaiming the superiority of tzeentch over the mighty god-emperor, and so on. He felt a great hatred now, and wanted to rip the still beating heart from this heresy.

Cyin, however, wanted to cautiously approach the situation, so Stilheim took the time to clean his weapon and bandage the spot where the mutant grabbed him.

OOC: Infiniti seems to be lost...

Cyin, Stilheim, Zen, and Mac, along with their servitor and the remaining Arbites slowly walked through the sewers, exploring and waiting for the enemy to attack.

Cyin activated the flashlight on his bolt pistol, as did Zen, giving the party some much needed light. Finally, they came to the end of the sewer, and were faced with two doors, both covered in demonic symbols.

"It would seem we have found this cult's base of operations," Cyin said, "sergeant, contact the arbites, give them our location, tell them to send reinforcements to begin the siege of this cult."

"Yes sir, but, begging your pardon, what are you going to do?"

"I will return to my ship and gather reinforcements, I will require my own warriors to deal with this siduation."

OOC: We fall back to the ship, get some Inquisitoral Stormtroopers, and attack again!

Lieutenant Erendul looked out from the window of the ship.

"Such devastation.. why?" he said to himself.

Erendul shook his head, and carried on surveying the area.
"I didn't join up for THIS."

He turned around and walked through some random doors, walking through the corridors, looking at the soldiers. One of the men he passed said to him "Sir, are you ok?". Erendul turned and looked at him, and said "Ask me again soldier, and i will pull your teeth out one. By. One."
