| Since this is we are rolling dice, and doing things a' proper, I will not have a character, but instead will, as you say, have a God-like roll. Though, generally people call him the Game-Master, Dungeon master, Narrator, Story-teller, etc... not God, though that works too. ![]() Okay, Ides, how much do you know about Warhammer Fantasy? There are three kinds of elves... the High Elves, which live in the Atlantis type Island of Uthlan... and generally are not around the Old World... Dark Elves, which are evil and nasty and I am not allowing in this game... finally, Wood Elves are remants of colonies long since abandoned by the High Elves in the Old World... they tend to be a bit xenophobic and aloof... and are similar to the Nightelves of Warcraft or the Elves of Lothlorien in Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring, or the Elves of Mirkwood (Legolas).

Blog Entries: 4 | I know there are high elves (arrogant, live on an Island, used to have beards, hate dark elves), Dark elves (arrogant live on another island/continent, also used to have beards, hate high elves), wood elves (live in some forest with a fancy name I can't remember, love the forest, hate pretty much everything else, kill whatever tries to enter the forest more or less) after that its more customs and language and that's where I get sketchy... Which is ok since my char was born in a port city... If we, along with killer and your friend, are trying to access Athel Loren, Either someone's paying us a lot or we're very, very lost... As for background, I don't mean warhammer universe background, I meant where are we the players when the adventure starts? What (in a very vague sense) are we trying to do? When did we start doing it? This gives us a timeline we can work back from, so if Baron and myself, both mercenaries, know we were hired by character Blank to escort them to city X, we can then say where we met, how we were approached, whether we already know each other, etc...

| Oh, background... yes... yes, And if you are born in a port city, might I suggest Marienburg... just to make it sound more "official" its not part of the Empire, but used to be and generally follows the same culture. As for background to the adventure... I won't tell much, but it will involve escaping a town from an army of Beastmen directly (like... the adventure begins like the day after Archaon) after the storms of chaos thingie... you will be near Middlehiem... in an important town during the war effort. As for the merc idea... it could work, however, I think this will all reveal itself once the adventure starts. As in... if you are hired by Character Blank to escort him to city X, I will tell you once the adventure begins.

| Ok, thanks! This should be great! I was thinking of being a High Elf mage, if possible, but if you don't think that's appropriate, then I'm happy to have a think about being something else (I'll probably just be a normal High Elf warrior). Thanks for letting me join!

Blog Entries: 4 | all the elves? There's two of us. Spikey's a human, and dwarves are...well...short and beardy. Halflings are just too much. Hobbits shouldn't be allowed in as the enemies would die laughing before they got near them... and killer, there's also the likes of outrider and kithband warrior to choose from...you can buy magical skills later.

And killermoose... only baron is a human, EVERYONE else is elf, my friend included... that's 3:1 ratio... I tend to like it the other way. Just my idea of who WFRP should be played. However, if you don't wanna be a human, play a High Elf. And ides... I understand about the halfings, lol. Oh, and just to be sure... God Grinder is the last player... NO MORE PLAYERS.

| Just post it here in the same format as the rest of us..dont worry if you cant do the tables as i'll tidy it up for you if theres any problems. I imagine MoW will probably transfer the character sheet over to the blog once you've posted it up here. |

Blog Entries: 4 | Just curiously, does the free advance during creation count towards the career advancement max? Also. Would it be worth our while jotting down where we'd like our characters to go, careerwise for the GM's purposes?

| Bloody....! Theres only 2 advanced careers for Mercenaries...hmm I think I'd choose Veteran or if I was going to move to another basic career it'd probably be Bounty Hunter (actually thats quite cool, Siegfried gets his experience as a Mercenary until he changes careers to become a feared Bounty Hunter..sweet). |
