Kosida could not join in, and looked upon the the skirmishes with sadness. aspect warriors from both craftworlds turned on each other, but Kosida looked away. he gathered up his fallen exarchs diresword and stole a Saim-Hann transport and left the eldar communities forever. years later, he came upon an eldar ghost ship, a Shadow Hunter type. he took it for his own and renamed it the Sunfury. Kosida frequently visits worlds around the galexy and takes up other eldar outcasts and warriors of other species, if they prove themselves in combat first. NSFarseer Name: galathil Race: eldar Age: 218 Faction: crewman of the sunfury Weapons: ranger long rifle, shuriken pistol Background: Galathil was a ranger of alaitoc, savoring the freedom is brought, so much so that he never wanted to return to the constraining lifestyle of craftworld life. He travelled to many worlds, aiding his fellow Eldar, but always leaving just when victory was won. One day he was found by kosida and was offered a position on his ship, the sunfury, and he took him up on the offer, as it had to lead to some excitement. baronspikey Name: Darris Race: Human Age: 37 Profession: Mercenary/Rogue Trader Appearance: 6'2". 210lb- head of messy brown hair with a rough beard and moustache Equipment: Autogun with under-slung Grenade Launcher (non-Imperial alteration), pair of Shock Mauls and a selection of 'home-made' explosives. Wears a stolen flak jacket with strips of sheet metal added as a breast plate. Background: Born aboard the Rogue Trader 'Randoorian Courage', Darris was destined to be a sailor of the stars. Raised by the crew he was given a firm grounding in everything a mercenary, dubious merchant, or part-time corsair might need. Showing a particular flair with explosives and a, somewhat worrying, delight for everything that went 'Boom' Darris became the ship's demolition expert when he came of age. Approaching his twenties Darris' Captain made the mistake of offending the wrong man and the 'Randoorian Courage' was attacked and boarded whilst at dock. Returning from a spree of shopping for those much needed components for his explosives Darris discovered the bodies of his crew mates and family- none had been spared. Homeless and alone a young Darris signed on with Kosida in hope of running from his past and forging a new life out of the ruins of the old. Killer Name: Anstar Race: Human Age: 34 Profession: Assassin/Mercenary Appearance: 6ft. Smooth face, short hair so he is not distracted while sniping. Equipment: 2 Combat Knives, 2 Throwing Knives, Exitus Pistol, Standard Sniper Rifle, Krak Armor (Scavenged, but suprisingly sturdy) History: Anstar lead a normal Imperial life until the age of 19, where his planet came under exterminatus. Luckily, him and his family recieved early news, and escaped the planet. However, a disease took all of his families lives, and he was left alone to fend for himself. He hated all things Imperial, and all he had was his stolen Exitus Pistol, taken from an Imperial assassin who had been badly wounded, a sniper rifle, taken from the same man, and his two Combat Knives. He later aqquired his other equipment while searching for work. He found it, with the Mercenaries he still works with today.. Rosenedal Name: Okan Vaun (Oh-kan Vawn) Race: Human Age: 67 Height: 5'11" Profession: Rogue Trader/Mercenary Hair: black, close-cropped Eyes: green Equipment: 2 Frag Grenades, Flak Armour on Chest, Legs, Shoulders, Kroot Rifle with Rangefinder, Naval Pistol, Knife History: Okan Vaun was born into a semi-wealthy trading family. He learned how to effectively Captain a ship at age 10, and he was made Captain of the Game Theory, one of the family vessels, at age 15. When he was 30, he agreed to transport a group of Explorators and Adeptus Biologus to the Eastern Fringe, looking to study the species known as the Kroot. Upon their arrival, they were almost immediately imprisoned, and forced to fight in brutal gladitorial games agaist all manner of Kroot offshoot species. Finally, only Vaun and one of the junior Biologists were left. The Kroot pitted the two against each other. The individuals in the Explorator band, as well as Vaun's crew, had long before decided that it was every man for himself. Vaun killed the Biologist. The Kroot, while impressed, were not compassionate. They called for Vaun's execution the next morning. Vaun pleaded with the Kroot Shaper to spare his life. He showed the Shaper the rare Imperial weapons he had acquired, and they decided to spare his life if he would give them the weapons. Vaun also told them about the number of alien species and even mutant humans that existed in the Imperium, and that he could take them there so they could fight, consume their prey, and take the gene-material back to the Shaper. The Shaper was intirgued by his offer and agreed. They released Vaun, and sent five Kroot with him. He took the Kroot all across the galaxy, in search of rare alien species for them to consume. Now the Kroot mostly use their own ship, and every five years, he leads the Kroot to the next good fight. In the meantime, he finds more aliens and mutants, and attempts to procure more weapons for the Kroot Shaper. He learned how to use a Kroot Rifle while on the Kroot world, taught by the Shaper himself. Verian Name: Shas'Ui Tash'var Kauyon Kunas Eldi (Hunter Agile Wing) Race: Tau Age: 22 Height: 5'6" Profession: Mercenary Hair: Bald Eyes: Yellow Equipment: 2 Photon Grenades, Navy Blue Tau Carapace Armour, Rail Rifle, Pulse Pistol, Bonding Knife History: During a campaign against Necron forces on the planet Angelis, Ui'Kauyon was amongst the few that survived the oncoming onslaught, witnessing the deaths of his Bonding Brothers and the Ethereal Aun'El Tash'var Doran Gue Ko. His spirit destroyed, Ui'Kauyon abandoned the cause of the Greater Good and left his post. Having lost his right forearm in battle, Ui'Kauyon scoured the field for a replacement, due to the Earth Caste's lack of resources, and came across a piece of alien technology shaped like a skeletal humanoid arm. Although slightly damaged, upon his escape of the ravaged planet, the limb began to heal itself, as if made from living metal. Utilising a shuttle as his escape, Ui'Kauyon voyaged for a year until being picked up by the Sunfury and joining the crew. Ides Name: Vaetor Dusyl Race: Eldar profession: former striking scorpion, Mercenary/ranger gear: bolt pistol, scorpion chainsword, combat knife. Cameoline greatcoat, salvaged scorpion armor (minus the helmet)/carapace armour (please choose which). Favourite phrases: Crude but effective. Fire at Will. Appearance: Shoulder length, obsidian hair, cold, emerald eyes, bronzed skin, and a gaunt, angular face. Personality: Sadistic and laconic to the point of being downright morbid, Vaetor is an unsettling figure with a fetish for all things mon keigh. He's worked the planets of the Fringe for many years, usually sticking to imperial territory, scraping a living hunting orks and other vermin, though the occassional well paying job does show up. He signed on with the Sunfury as an enforcer, partly out of boredom and partly from incurring the wrath of a large number of individuals. Lord Commander Erus Name: Ilyedan Race: Eldar Age: 201 Profession/faction: Former fire dragon, now turned medic with slight skills at machine repair as well. (Think of a sorta.. junior bonesinger.. sorta..).. Weapons: (HIGHLY up for switching, I am new to Eldar in RP)Dragons Breath Flamer(I can go with fusion gun, if more applicable), Salvaged Karskin (helmet, rull suit)set of carapace armor painted and detailed to resemble his old aspects colors, a lone and exotic looking melta bomb, a mis-matched medics kit from the Imperial Guard, containing Tau pheremone treatments, odd looking eldar devices, and even a bizzare looking ork shaman totem (consider him to have the effectiveness of an IG veteran medic), Backround: Ilyedan was originally from the Ulthwe Craftworld, and a proud member of the Fire Dragon Aspect Shrine. He was always hot headed, for an Eldar, and often reprimanded for his lack of the Eldar people stoic calm. He was gifted the use of a Dragons Breath Flamer, for his nature in battle assured he often ran ahead of even the exarch, screaming his fury, and the fiery breath of the weapon suited him. However, after a long time spent, Ilyedan was sent to the Aspect Temple, when the Exarch died, to see if he could pass the tests their and be deemed worthy to lead his Aspect. What transpired there is not known, all that Ilyedan has said is that he left the craftworld with a ranger expedition force and struck for the most obscure, backwater worlds. From there, h obtained odd jobs working with Kroot, Human, and the rogues of the galaxy. His knowledge in the destruction of ships and armor was useful, but it soon proved that his hands were also adept at healing, and as he traveled he accumulated his odd med pack, and several small trinkets useful for helping to mend ships rather than destroy. It was on a return foray from a world outside of known space that he met with the Captain of the Sunfury, quite by accident he thought, and was asked aboard. The rest, well, that's still in the works.

| The Dark Apostle ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | OOC:sorry for double post, it was necessary. Kosida stood on the wraithbone bridge of the Sunfury, currently orbiting the exodite world of Kyar, in the veiled region. while still with Beil-tan Kosida had led a small force to the planet and helped root out an ork band that had crashed. it had taken several years, and Kosida had grown a close relationship with the Exodites living there. Kyar was the Scarlet Hands base of operations, and would stop by to check up on the Exodites and to re-stock several supplies that could not be obtained on the dis-illusioned imperial worlds were Kosida did buissiness. Kosida turned to his friend and Pilot of the Sunfury, a female eldar named Cratia, and asked, "Has Galathil's party returned with the supplies yet? it seems a long time." Cratia wore a headress plugged into the moniter in front of her, allowing communication with the small infinity curcuit in the ship that held the stones of former pilots and captains. Kosida had learned much of the Sunfury's rich history from their wisdom. she glanced up and replied, "No my lord, their shuttle is still on the surface."

| Extremis Diabolus ![]() ![]() ![]() | OOC: let me know if I'm doing this correctly... I'm new to this. Okan Vaun gazed out over the spaceport where the ammunition, spices, and various other supplies onto the shuttle. A light breeze flowed out over the landscape. But it was not the chill wind that froze his blood. Leaping, running shapes bolted over the barren tundra towards the spaceport. They were nearly 500 meters off, but Vaun could see them. He pulled out his mag-goggles and adjusted the focus. They were herd animals, herbivores. They were harmless, but fierce if approached by a foreign or hostile entity, and protected their grounds fiercely. To see them running, apparently away from something, as there was nothing in front of them, was unheard of. Vaun could not see anything chasing them, but he knew his eyes could decieve him. He leapt off the spaceport watch station, ran to the wall's staircase, and jogged off to the communications office to send the warning to Kosida, and to alert the rest of the crew of the Sunfury who were on the planet.

Blog Entries: 3 | Ilyedan watched his compatriot idly, shifting the ancient flamer in what would be to an Eldar ill concealed impatience. His fiery orange carapace armor was worn, and he silently chided himself for letting it become so worn down. The ceramite and plasteel of the Mon-Keigh just left much to be desired, and he would have to remember to ask the Captain to trade for the more exotic materials of their home world. Cuing the crude little vox bead in his helmet, the former Fire Dragon opened a channel to Okan as he heard the vox transmission. 'Okan.. I didn't receive that last transmission.. This clunky suit is malfunctioning, what was your transmission?' |

Blog Entries: 1 | "Repeat that, interference from Ilyedan" Anstar said into his vox as he heard Okan's transmission. He could almost feel Ilyedan scowling at him, whereever he was in the area. At that thought, he smiled to himself and carried on polishing his rifle, waiting for the reply. OOC: I don't care if Vox doesnt have interference, i didnt know that! :P |

I cannot see what it is, but they are running this way and I think we should leave immediately." Vaun could see that the cargo they were supposed to bring to the Sunfury was barely half-loaded. Whatever was making those Rockstags run, they would have to fight them, or lose half their cargo. Being a man of the trade, Vaun unslung his Kroot Rifle and began to load it in preparation for defending the spaceport.

Blog Entries: 4 | What a joke... Vaetor put the slide of the bolt pistol on teh table and glanced at the roof of the shuttle in exasperation, as the message crackled through the exterior vox unit. What in the Warp could the mon keigh be yammering about now? Okan had an annoying habit of getting excited over the silliest of things. When they'd arrived he'd almost come to blows with vaetor over a rodent he'd killed. Rare and beautiful, he'd called it. It was a glorified rat as far as he was concerned. Seemed madness was something aging mon keigh and aging farseers had in common. There was a crackle as Ilyedan and Anstar leapt onto the vox net, and he grimaced, reassembling the bolt pistol with contemptuous ease and holstering it before shrugging on his greatcoat and jogging striding towards the loading ramp. Picking up his helmet as he went, he cued the vox unit. "Understood," he growled. Three days. Three days he'd been down here "loading supplies" and "supervising" activities on the shuttle, while the sunfury hung in orbit like some overpriced meteor. If Kosida knew what he was doing, he wasn't telling anyone. Sighing, he settled the helmet over his head, and waited for the components of the Tau and Monkeigh technology to interface properly. He was particularly proud of that interface given the time it had taken to construct. Slowing his stride, he edged around the shuttle to the shadows and watched.

Blog Entries: 1 | Groaning and rubbing at his lower back, Darris stumbled from the Shuttle where'd he been checking the supplies as the Vox chatter started up. "Vaun repeat that please. Couldn't hear you for a second old man, something about...Rockstags?" *tschh*"think"*tschh*"leave immediately." Trying to get out of interference zone of the shuttle's underside, Darris grabbed on to handrails and pulled himself up on top of the small ship. With the added height he was just able to make out the distant shapes of the Xenos Antelope headed this way...but there was something more. With a small click he loosened his magnoculars from their case and placed them to his eyes at maximum zoom..."Holy Feth!" "Kauyon! Get your arse in gear and get on the Vox, we got company headed this way..."

Blog Entries: 1 | "Feth!" Shouted Anstar as he heard the general warnings over the Vox. He loaded his rifle and hauled some ammo along with him, searching for a good position to keep out of sight but also cover the ship in case they got close. He spotted the perfect place. A small hill, in sight of the ship and also in a good spot to fire at those.. creatures. However, he would be easily spotted. Still, ain't nothing gonna get near me. He climbed quickly, taking his rifle, some ammo, and his knives. Just in case they did get too close. When he reached the top, he crawled to his stomach, raised his rifle, and took aim. "Feth." He muttered "Anstar in position" He sent through the vox. |

| Extremis Diabolus ![]() ![]() ![]() | Vaun ran to the gate, and pressed against the wall, trusty Kroot Rifle in the proper two-handed grip used to stab enemies with either its spiked butt or muzzle. He glanced around the corner of the gate quickly. The Rockstags had mostly scattered around the spaceport, although some had tried to ram the gate. Their thick skulls could not even scratch the plasteel bars or cross-beams, but they kept trying, oblivious to the fact that they couldn not get through. Vaun pointed his Rifle out the gate, looking through his rangefinder for his foe. He spotted them now, moving very quickly across the tundra, blurs of speed that made him realize that things were much worse that he originally thought. Genestealers.

Blog Entries: 1 | "Feth...Feth..." panted Darris as he scrambled from atop the shuttle. Hitting the ferrocrete of the Landing Pad he scanned to see how the on take of supplies was progressing, the answer was not encouraging. "Kauyon im going to cycle up the Shuttle's engines and get us ready for launch, tell me when those fething 'Stealers get within 200m of the main gates so we can get this bird in the air" Not waiting for a response the mercenary began stacking supplies on to a small carry truck so he could get as much as possible into the ship before they cut and run. "Oh Feth!"

| Galathil unsheathed his long rifle lithely, on his knees, sighting the rapidly approaching genestealers. Taking two quick shots, each one dropping a fell creature, he almost felt pity for the disgusting creatures, but didn't want to waste the emotion one such beasts. As much as he was enjoying his self, pegging another one, he knew they couldn't stick around much longer.

Blog Entries: 1 | "Feth" Muttered Anstar Again. Genestealers. The single enemies his knives couldnt fall. He took aim, fired, and the shot sped towards its prey, bringing it smashing to the ground. He fired again, and again, and again, each shot hitting its intended target, swiftly killing the foul beasts. "Can someone PLEASE tell me, what Genestealers are doing here?!" He barked into his vox, as he fired again. Yet the creatures kept on coming. Un-afraid. Relentless. Mercyless. OOC: Any plans on how many there are? I don't wanna kill too many =p |

| Trooper ![]() | Obliterating Genestealer after Genestealer, Ui'Kauyon continued his barrage of shots, occasionally turning to check on the loading of the shuttle, but only for a split second, too long would be disastrous. "310 metres...270 metres. They getting closer, Ready Darris?" Ui'Kauyon loaded the Vox, "Ui'Kauyon is preparing to return to shuttle, making way back up, Genestealers are approaching fast. Out" Unequipping his rail rifle, Ui'Kauyon began to clamber up towards the front of the shuttle "200 metres, move it". Loading what he could into the ship, Ui'Kauyon climbed in amongst the cargo and waited for the rest of the crew to return. Suddenly realising that he had left behind his bonding knife in his sniping position, Ui'Kauyon raced outside to retrieve it, with the Genestealers less than 150 metres away. |

Blog Entries: 1 | "Time for the fun to really get started!" Shouted Anstar as he stood up. He had seen the ship begin to move, yet he knew the Genestealer's would get there first. He grinned, holstered his rifle, and pulled out his knives. Sprinting towards the ship, genestealers were still falling. But they were almost there. So was Anstar, and he flung himself onto the loading bay, turned around and threw one of his newer knives into the throat of an Oncoming Genestealer. Reaching over to retreive it, he only just managed to get it, as his arm was about to be ripped off. He decided that it'd be a bad idea to keep his arm there, and so yanked the knife back, his arm accompanying it. "Feth. Oh, hello Ui'Kauyon." He grinned again, picked up his Exitus Pistol, and shot randomly into the amassing crowd of Genestealers. "Having fun?" |

Grasping his hand around the hilt, he pulled the knife out of the earth to thrust it into the throat of a Genestealers. In it's last effort, the creature slashed away at Ui'Kauyon's mechanical arm, severing it just above the wrist. Blog Entries: 1 | "Bastards get off my Shuttle!" roared Darris as he emerged from the pilot's bay at the sound of Ui'Kauyon and Anstar boarding, Autogun with its Grenade Launcher in tow. "Fire in the hole" saying that the large mercenary sent a grenade sailing into the rear of the Genestealers attacking the shuttle. With a muted 'Thump' a handful of 'Stealers became essentially a pile of offal and bony carapace. Reaching for a hidden leaver Darris swung his auto gun one-handed and began to fire at the tyranid's nearing his shipmates. With a hiss of escaping gases the length of metal he had been looking for was desperately pulled and the shuttle's bay doors rapidly closed on the genestealers still outside.
