THE 40K BATTLE!!!!!

I am crazy for this but i wanna go for a (long pause) 40,000 pt match(:gasp!!!!, apocalypse style.

i am open to teams but we will have to decide on pt value for each team member.

after this match it would be cool to see if someone who was good at writing fluff could do a story on it.

any armies can be allied, but give background if it seems wierd matchup.

will any honorable custode take the time to oversee the match of the century? it would be greatly appreciated and understandable if they took their time(its a 40,000 pt list, it will take some time).
and the custode who does take it (i thank you), PM me so i can name the match right before it starts(unless you wanna name it yourself)

i want this match to be the most epic of all matches ever had in the battlefield. i want to show what a dedicated group of hobbyists we have here at 40kterra.

we may chant "FOR THE EMPEROR","BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD", "WAAAAGGGGGGHHHHH","1000010101010101",or something else but we all scream for 40kterra!!!!!!

So let me be the first "FOR 40K TERRRAAAAAA!!!!"

and if any mods think that i shouldn't be doing this just remove the thread.

fuegan, you would be best using teams for this, other wise one person will have to write a 40.000 points list and of course the tactics will take ages, have 4 people on each team 2 teams, so each person has 10k list to write, so each team has a total of 40k pts...

hows that sound? just my idea, i can help if you like it, but i wanna play!!

With such a big battle you might have to do tactics in quarters if you get my drift. This might take a while to set up, but i would be willing to co custode it if i could play also. It would be best to have 2-4 players a side.
Let me think on how it would be best to set this up.
I have done many battles this size or bigger before apoc came out, i think there the best battles, just seeing that many models on a board at once Rocks!

well i think you could play and custode it warchild just no map advantages(i know you won't). and @ horus: this game will take a while i dont think it will be a problem unless your gone for months.

i also agree with what warchild said on tactics and I am thinking we do objective based with a narrative.

I'd be interested in this as I easily have 5k of Death Korps plus another 5k or so of other IG htat I actually need to write lists for. The only problem is me being gone for a month but I'll try to check in and such, plus it will take me a while to type up an army list that huge.

But if you'll have me I'll be glad to join in these epic scale shenanegans.

I'll definitely join up for this, I think with my Daemons, Death Guard, and Renegades I have around 20,000 points. I would suggest a 4 vs 4 battle for this, however.

Well honestly i dont see it starting real soon so if its cool with fuegan i say we can wait that way it will give us time to get a few more people and enough time for the lists to be made and checked, plus it will give me time to make up a 8x8 map and some rules.
So what 2vs2 or 3vs3? I say 3vs3 since we have 5 people already. I can cover any amount of points and go either Chaos or Imperial.

Cool then that makes 6 now we need to make teams and figure out the points and split them up however in each team. I also say when making your lists try and keep them as clean and condenced as possible, 40k is gonna be some big lists.

so when kenshin, BvL, and warchild get the chance you guys need to nominate a team leader.

and chaos side I will be leader unless someone else would prefer to be leader.

also each person get to use a datasheet of their own as long as the points seem fair.
so post your datasheets in either general 40k or under your army. i will be looking over all of the armies section to find it if necessary. but BvL you can post it in your krieg codex area and i will find it.

so lets get the ball rolling!

I am working on a Battlefiel and some Ideas for running it, we have to wait till BVL gets back from Europe, but by that time all the little things will be ready on my end for custoding and then it would be list time.
