Blog Entries: 1 | The Siege of Terra. It'd be hard to do, and with many details, but it's a good idea, no? Chaos Vs Space Marines, Large points armies, probably 2v2. We could use special rules for Horus and the Emperor, or perhaps a multitude of Primarchs. It's just an idea for us all to discuss and perhaps take further. Tell me what you think should be done!

| cool idea, so what your trying to do is recreate the siege of terra? in one issue of white swarf theres a scene of horus fighting the emperor, with sanguinius dead at the feet

| Well it sounds interesting. i'd certianly add my chaos forces to the fight. you'd be best making it an apoc game, to simulate all the heavy and exotic units that would be involved in a fight like this since if reenacting (or hopoing to change the outcome) then you would need titans and masses of IC also you'd need the walls of terra on the map. with a few breaches in it adn the amin gate. then the castle front grounds befroe the castle itself but I'm defiently willing to play chaos

| some ideas for you the castle walls could be AV14 with 3 structure points and immune to melta special rule. they ARE the walls of the most heavily protected area around. have a FEW (maybe 2) destroyed sections to let invaders in. this is to simulate that the defnders will initially start with teh advantage in cover and concentration of forces. to counter that advantage maybe have the chaos lists a LITTLE higher value tahn imperial without the normal apoc balancing trick of additional extras and so forth give the imperial walls either a 4+cover save for troops on them, or fixed AA autocannon and las cannon batteries. or both. you could have the objectives all insid ethe imperial zone to simulate taht chaos has to GET in not stand back and hope to shoot through for ever. for example the imperial gatehouse beign one. if chaos captures it they can get troops in easier than the gaps at the wall. also get bvechiles inside. the court yard could be another objecitve this way imperial starts out with the objective in their grips and as with a real seige msut fight to keep them or lose them to the attackers? a few quick ideas to start with for you there quack well a couple of things could be that the objectives are all in the imperial side.

| here are some further thoughs 1 - make it an apoc game. suitably large 2 - all objectives start in imperial/loyalist control. they have the walls of tera and the fortress of terra for their advantage as well. The walls have lascannon and AAautocannon mounts. and one central entrance which is the only area at the moment large enough for vehicles larger than bikes to pass through. this is the first objective. the player who controls it can pass their vehicles through it freely. all the wallas are AV14 with 3 structure points. this is to simulate how well they were constructed. after all it took days of bombardment for the traitor forces to break through at one point the central courtyard would be another objective. an ideal point to place a titan as it is one of the few areas open and large enough to hold one in the defense area. the others could be spaced about depending on the lay out of the map. 3- the chaos forces get an advantage in points and deploy second and get first turn. this is to simulate one the advantage in numbers they had and offset the overwhelming advantage offered by the walls dfenses and cover saves not to mention the wall mounted weapon turrerts 4- cetian characters being selected would offer bonus abilitiues sort of thing. for example, kharne allowing you to position him and a squad of bezerkeres in the breach of the walls immediatly (the point where the world eaters first entered and kharnes broken body was found finally) abbadon would grant an orbital strike etc
